Um, today we'll be we'll be up to our new usual shenanigans, you know, talking about whatever hot takes and stuff like that. Jacob's computers playing random audio. Um, we'll be talking about a couple movies we've seen recently, as you've seen from the thumbnail and the title, we'll be talking about Young Washington, um, Minions and Monsters. We'll be talking about some news, um, some updates, some box office breakdowns of movies um that's been going on recently. So that's kind of the rough and you obviously obviously we'll have some shenanigans going on. But anyways, this is my host, Jacob. Thank you guys so much for tuning in. Yeah, episode five.

SPEAKER_02Something like that. Something like you do all magic here. Yeah, you could call it that.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Um something like that.
SPEAKER_02Something like that. Some chill. Some of it's like really magical, you know. It's like really magical.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Like some of the pictures and like videos.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, like Miss Piggy.
SPEAKER_02A lot of Miss Piggy. A lot of Miss Piggy.
SPEAKER_01And that's if we haven't brought out Miss Piggy in a while.
SPEAKER_02It's been a bit.
SPEAKER_01Chat, let's pull up a picture of Miss Piggy real quick.
SPEAKER_02Just starting us off strong. Yeah, just for the vibes. Just for the vibes, yeah.
SPEAKER_01And make sure this one's like a like a good Miss Piggy. All right. You talking. Yeah, I'll find something.
SPEAKER_02All right. Like similar to the Miss Piggy. Yeah, I mean, I have a drive, so like all just Miss Piggy. All right. Yep. Cool. All right. Like and subscribe to see Jacob's Miss Piggy Drive. Thank you so much, guys.
SPEAKER_01Um, but seven likes and I'll leak it.
SPEAKER_02That wouldn't really be a leak. But um, yeah, seven likes. Eight likes, you'll see his whole computer. Um, make it nine. Yeah, yeah. All right. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, eight's kind of too well. Yeah, yeah. Make it nine. Um, well, shoot. Do we want to go ahead and get into a little intro here? We got high low buffalo, kind of just like break, you know, just kind of seeing how our week's been. Um, kind of just touching base, seeing what's been going on. So you want to start us off? So maybe start.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I can start us off real quick. And so high low buffalo. We'll go ahead and start out with a low. I actually do for once finally have a low for this week. It's not good. Uh, not good. Um, it's kind of a more, it could technically be a buffalo, but I'll throw something else under Buffalo. Um, but the low is there's this one absolute goober chud who lives at my apartment, um, and he drives like this massive Ford expedition that's like way taller than my truck. Like he climbs in above where my truck is, like the roof of my truck. Like, thing is huge. It takes up the full parking spot. This bro has been parking here for weeks now, and he decides to buy a motorbike.
SPEAKER_02Does he still have a car?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. But now he takes up the best parking spot in the parking lot with his big old truck, and he leaves his motorbike there when he's gone. So he's just reserving the spot, and I watched him pull in today, move his motorbike out the way, park, and then put it back in the spot. So he's just taking up the best spot in the parking lot with his Chud truck and Chud bike, and it's a good one too because it ruins the other two other best spots too, right by the staircase. Does it block him? Like it's not really, but it's super annoying when you're trying to like park in that spot and like you have to like squeeze into your door because his truck is so big without trying to be a menace and overlap into the spot next to the one you're parking in.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And so it's just kind of it's just kind of annoying, you know. That's it'd be a shame if that bike were to disappear.
SPEAKER_02Dude, it'd be a shame if your roommate were to disappear. Dude, that wouldn't be on him.
SPEAKER_03That would be a shame. Yeah, like you didn't do anything. If everybody disappears. It's not on him. Not on me. 100 likes and everyone disappears.
SPEAKER_01Please like. Please like, but that's my low. It just it's just low-key frustrating.
SPEAKER_02That's about it's just like I was was that your spot before he like Well well, I always try and park there, obviously.
SPEAKER_01But it wasn't like yeah, uh, it'sn't like a claim. It's like the open, you take it.
SPEAKER_02It's just the one closest to the building.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yeah, and you you know, like you get home after work. Normally, like by the time I get home, a lot of people are working still. And so I normally can get a pretty good spot. I'm just guaranteed no longer a good spot anymore because of that chug.
SPEAKER_02Is it like the only good spot?
SPEAKER_01Like, no, I mean there's others, but it's just like the three best.
SPEAKER_02And so he takes up two of the three, like with his well, he takes up one, but like he's like a line.
SPEAKER_01Oh, okay. So it chokes three of them. Yeah. Without, like, I mean, like, my my truck's pretty tiny, but it's like, I mean, it still takes up room. So it's like so you just can't. Yeah. Yeah. So it's whatever. But then the high of the week was actually 4th of July.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Um, shout out America. We did lose in the World Cup.
SPEAKER_02We got That was a terrible game. We got annihilated. That was really bad.
SPEAKER_01Like embarrassed.
SPEAKER_02That you know the third goal, the third one that they scored.
SPEAKER_01Dude, like I only listened to the audio feed because I didn't have to go.
SPEAKER_02Okay. If you guys saw, y'all know what I'm talking about. It was like maybe the most embarrassing soccer play I've ever seen. I don't watch a lot of soccer, so it's not saying a lot, but it was really bad. Like they were on our end of the of the field, and our goalie was so far up, and he tried to clear the ball, so he tried to kick it, and instead of kicking the ball, he literally kicked the ground.
SPEAKER_01Oh, I did see a clip of that. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02He kicked the grass. Yeah. And because of that, the Belgian guy was able to pass it across the field. That guy was able to score because our goalie was in Narnia, way up front. And and it was terrible. And then and then with like a minute left, they scored the fourth one. It was just like, man, just just call it. Just cut the feet.
SPEAKER_03All I'm saying is Belgium should play us in the NFL. See what happens. NBA. They don't stand a chance.
SPEAKER_02Hey. They don't stand any, you know, whatever at all.
SPEAKER_01And you know what? I'll pull this up too for the clip. Bosnia is talking some straight trash right now. Even though the United States put them out in the round of 32.
SPEAKER_02Wait, they're talking about us?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Even though we beat them?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, like they posted a Bosnia Instagram. I think it's like a parody account, but it's like blowing up. They posted a picture and it's like Belgium saved football. And they're just like clowning on the U.S.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_01Well, we'll we'll show the post, but it's like, what are we doing?
SPEAKER_02We beat them. So it's like, what does that say about you guys? Like if if you're saying we're bad, like we we beat you.
SPEAKER_01But they did, they did when we get they got beat, they posted a picture and it just said it's soccer. That's all the post said. Because they got beat by America, who calls it soccer, not oh my gosh. So they just posted one, called it soccer. All right, whatever. So it's like they were defeated, and then they were like, oh, now we could talk trash about the U.S. It's our moment to stay relevant. Who lives in Bosnia? Like if you live in Bosnia, please subscribe. Please like as well. Please like. But yeah, anyways, off tangent. Fourth of July was fun. Went to a beach with some friends, watched some good fireworks. It was a good time. Had a ball. Uh really good ball.
SPEAKER_03It was fun. A ball with a headache.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. One might say.
SPEAKER_02Really bad headache.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. You were you were joked. I wasn't even there. You just texted me.
SPEAKER_01Throbbing headache.
SPEAKER_02And you just some for some reason didn't go to sleep. And then we might have, we may or may not have been sending reels to each other for like an hour.
SPEAKER_01At least I had ibuprofen.
SPEAKER_02That's true.
SPEAKER_01That helped.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, it's yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. But then Buffalo, um, my mustache is gone. I just spontaneously shaved it, and now I'm just staying clean shaven for a little while.
SPEAKER_02Fair.
SPEAKER_01That was the yeah, I don't know how I feel about it.
SPEAKER_02That was when I got to see him the first time after he shaved it off. That was the first thing I said. I wasn't even like, yo, what's up? I was like, your mustache is gone. He's like, Yeah. Yep. Yeah. It was a shock. It was like flashback.
SPEAKER_01So now I'm just trying to like jawline max with like outer jawline, you know?
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Big jawline maxer. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Like um, what's the stuff called where like you oh the um where you like smack the hammer on your cheek, like the uh looks maxing something? I don't know.
SPEAKER_01Like you're a big oh dude, I could smack something else on your cheek. Yes.
SPEAKER_02Was that was that are you are you done? Yeah, yeah, I'm done. All right, sick, sick, sick. Um, all right. So all right, so I'll I'll start, I'll go opposite orders. I'll start with my Buffalo and then go go other way. So Buffalo is um, you know, we live in Florida, and so the the weather is is cooked. Like it's just like storms out of nowhere. And so yesterday it was like blue skies, and I go on a run, and out of nowhere, while I'm on my run, it just started storming out of nowhere. And these were the closest lightning strikes I've ever heard to me in my life. They were it was like there was no delay in between when I there was a flash and there was the sound, there was no delay, and so it was it was loud. I was like, I'm gonna die. But I was already in the middle of my run, and so I'm not gonna stop, you know. So I was can't stop. You just gotta go with it, gotta go with it. And I saw blue skies like in the distance around me. It was to this one bubble, and it was just like camping where I was. So it was just like it was cool. So that was really random. Um, but mid thrun didn't die. Obviously, we made it here. Um, let's see. Hi, uh, 4th of July weekend, obviously. Of course. Hope you guys had a good weekend as well. But yeah, I uh I got to spend some time with my brother on the fourth, um, which was a great time. And so um, yeah, fourth was was a great time. Um again, I'm not here like for much longer, and so I'm trying to like spend as much time with people as I can. So my brother lives around here, and so getting to spend that with him was was a great time. So um, yeah, 4th of July, fantastic time. Um, not as much of a headache as as yours, but no, you know, I wasn't as like, you know, I didn't need as much ibuprofen. Yeah, yeah, well, yeah, one thing. Yeah, you were you were just dehydrated.
SPEAKER_01Still doom scrolling till like 3 a.m.
SPEAKER_02Dude, who would ever do that? Yeah, no, dude, you definitely didn't do that. No, not at all. No, might have been might have been the most cursed. They were chopper.
SPEAKER_01They were so bad. They were so bad.
SPEAKER_02You're terrible. Uh, and then my low, uh similar to Jacob, I'm always scrambling for a low, which is a good thing. Um, I think recently it's been like I'm willing to be in so many different places at once right now, and I am overlooking a lot, like trying to make plans to go to different places. He knows what I'm talking about. It's kind of like hard to talk about it with not being descript, but um, which is a good thing. Like I want to be in multiple places at once right now, and so it's kind of led me to like not being able to be fully present where I am, and so trying to work on just like being where my feet are um and and just making the most of where I'm at and not like wishing I was somewhere else. Um, and so so yeah, I guess that's a kind of a low, but it's a good thing that I'm wanting to be in a bunch of different places, but it it makes like being present kind of hard. So yeah, assessment low.
SPEAKER_01I mean, speaking of being in different places, there's a good chance that like soon after this pod comes out that we'll be in a different location ourselves, just randomly across the country from Florida to California. Um, so we might maybe film a pod in California. That would be sick. I think it'd be kind of fire. It would be fun. It'd be fun.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Um, we gotta figure out what to actually film in California. Obviously, we're not gonna have a car. Um Odyssey's coming out that weekend, too. So we might can try and work something out.
SPEAKER_02We'll we'll see what happens, but but hey, dude, but all of our equipment though, I don't know if we'd be able to move it. Oh dude, we have so much.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, dude, like this whole setup we got going on. Yeah, like all of our decorations, yeah, these ring lights and yeah, one battery for my camera.
SPEAKER_02We don't have one ring light.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I I remember like the last pod we said we would get more batteries because it kept dying.
SPEAKER_02Haven't got a battery yet? No. I don't I don't think we will.
SPEAKER_01No, so there's a good chance on this camera dies, like mid-recording again.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and then we'll have to Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah But you know, for those not listening on the YouTube, like you won't notice or really hear a difference. Yeah. So come to the YouTube, then you'll see a difference.
SPEAKER_02Then you will see. So come to YouTube to see the difference. Um, but yeah, let's see. And then actually that was it. That was my last one. Yeah, so it was my low. W high low button. And hopefully the high next week is that we got more batteries for the camera.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, maybe.
SPEAKER_02Probably not. If we're being honest, there's no chance.
SPEAKER_00If we're gonna be honest, yeah, no.
SPEAKER_02No chance. But um, but yeah, is it time?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's on to probably our favorite segment that probably lasts way too long.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Um, but we have a blast with it. Um, it is the floor, it's lava. So if you're new to the pod, this is where me and Will will ask each other 10 questions. We have to answer the question with the first thing that comes to our mind. It could be anything from interesting to pop culture to out of pocket to freaky to sus. Literally any question is on the table, and we just gotta straight up answer it, try and do it with a straight face as quick as possible. We might try and speed it up a little bit quicker this time.
SPEAKER_02Last time, I think it was literally 45 minutes.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, we we we might have done this segment a little too long, but we have a good time with it. I hope y'all listening think it's funny as well. So, yeah, I guess we can go ahead and jump into the first question.
SPEAKER_02Let's do it.
SPEAKER_01Do you want to go first this time?
SPEAKER_02Dude, I'll go first. Yeah. Dude, we're starting we're starting off with a heavy hitter here. I'm just letting you know. I think the past two times I've done this, my first one's always like easy and intent.
SPEAKER_01Oh, don't worry. I did the same exact time. Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_02All right, I'm glad we're on the same thing.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02In honor of Fourth of July. You know, we just said 4th of July weekend. It's a great time. Would you rather be strapped to a big firework, like one of the big ones? Yeah. Be shot off in the air. The firework explodes and you hit the ground, but you're guaranteed to survive. You're guaranteed to like be able to walk again. You have no long-lasting like injuries or inhibiting conditions or anything that wouldn't fully heal, that wouldn't take longer than a year to fully heal. I wouldn't get hurt. But but you would be able to walk instantly though. Like right after the event, like you're able to like bad burns. Yeah. But like it wouldn't inhibit your daily activities. Like you'd still be able to go to work and do everything you normally do. You'd just be joked.
SPEAKER_01So what's the other?
SPEAKER_02Or both apply baby oil to and give both apply baby oil to and give a Brazilian wax to Donald Trump's entire body every day for two weeks.
SPEAKER_03And before you ask, yes, he grows hair back fast. Dude, honestly, I think it'd be an honor to serve my country. I'm waxing them. You seem like a little too excited to do that. I'm waxing them.
SPEAKER_02That's how you want to serve your country? Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01I think it'd be an honor just to get to meet the president too. Like he is the president.
SPEAKER_02Oh, you'd be getting to meet him.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_01All of them. Personally, too. Really deeply. I feel like two weeks is better than like a year of like burning. Sure. So I I got I yeah, I'm waxing him.
SPEAKER_03Really like you begin to know him really deeply. Yeah. Yeah. I'll get all the crevices, I'll make sure. Alright, question one. Oh gosh. When you suck on a popsicle, do you think of how so? Just how like cold you are. Like in your demeanor. Like you're always really cold. So why a popsicle? Just because they're cold. Yeah. And like they're like hard. And long? I wouldn't say long. Probably more towards the latter. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02But like maybe kind of long. But like more so the other one. But really just because they're cold. Like. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03But I feel honored.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_03Thanks for thinking about me like that. Every time. Yeah. I actually like put a picture of you on an Apop school. Chubb? No Chubb? It's up for you to decide. Question number two. Going back to Spider-Man 3.
SPEAKER_02Have you seen Spider-Man 3? Like ever? Toby? Yeah. No. You've never seen that movie?
SPEAKER_03No.
SPEAKER_02Okay. So I'll I'll paint the picture.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, Toby.
SPEAKER_02I'll paint the picture. So there's a scene where Peter Parker is on top of a building and like Gwen Stacy is like falling off the building.
SPEAKER_01Oh, I've seen the Lego version.
SPEAKER_02Alright, yeah. Um, so Gwen Stacy is like hanging off this building.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02And so now like you're Spider-Man in the situation, and there's two people hanging off the building. You can only save one of them. The other one's just falling to their death. Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_03For sure.
SPEAKER_02Do you save Megan Lawless or Raven? Which one do you say?
SPEAKER_01Megan Lawless.
SPEAKER_02No hesitation.
SPEAKER_01No hesitation.
SPEAKER_02Where are you bringing it to?
SPEAKER_01My house.
unknownOkay.
SPEAKER_01Maybe for some ice cream and Mario Kart. Oh, okay. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Maybe some like popsicles. Go back to the last pod. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Maybe some popsicles.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. What'd you think of me?
SPEAKER_01It's not a part of the question. You're asking too many questions here.
unknownBut yeah.
SPEAKER_01You asked me a ton on yours. I think about you. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. If you really want to know, I think about you. Because you were getting pretty specific with the popsicle question. Yeah, but no, Megan Lawless wants me. She just doesn't know it yet. All right. She will be a guest on this pod next episode. Make sure to subscribe.
SPEAKER_02What are we getting? Nine likes for Megan Lawless? We're kind of we're going up. No, we said nine likes. 11. 11. 911.
SPEAKER_03Question two.
SPEAKER_01Would you fight one Sully sized minion? Or 100 minion-sized sullies.
SPEAKER_03100 minions. Sully from Monster Sink, by the way. Wait, Sully size. Okay. Yeah, Sully sized minion. One. Really? Yeah, I think so. Yeah. Yeah. He would beat you up. Dude, no. I got it.
SPEAKER_02You sure? Yeah. Like if it was normal Sully, I'd probably be joked. But minion, I mean, he's like I got that.
SPEAKER_03Okay. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Sure, man.
SPEAKER_03I think I would just go for the legs, you know? I don't know that reach though. That's true.
SPEAKER_02I'm gonna have to try another strat, but I dude, but the 100 would be that would be crazy.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, 69 likes and we make it happen.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, we make it happen.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_0370? Uh yeah. Yeah. 70 likes. Not 69? I'm near a fan. Question number three. Would you rather be a hot for two weeks? That'd be kind of fun. Or date a hut for a month and they're freaky. Yeah, I want to get freaky with a hut. You want to? Yeah. Why? I just want to see what it's like. You know like the sound mac and cheese makes? It's not like what do you think? What do you think?
SPEAKER_01It's like kind of like a squishy sound. I feel like a I feel like a hut might make that sound. That's all I'm saying. That's all I'm saying.
SPEAKER_03Question three If George Washington existed today, I'm doing it.
SPEAKER_01Would he drive a lifted dually Ford F-150 or a Tesla?
SPEAKER_02A lifted dually Ford F-150. I think he would drive anything but a Tesla.
SPEAKER_00Really?
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_00I feel like he might drive a Tesla.
SPEAKER_02I don't think he's looking at a Tesla.
SPEAKER_03Much less driving one. Interesting. No. I just think he has a little bit of class. Teslas aren't classy, though. They can be.
SPEAKER_02But they're not, like, inherently. Like they're not a classy car. They can be. They're nice. They're not. But it's not a classy car.
SPEAKER_00Either is a dually F-150.
SPEAKER_02It's more. Um, what is what what is it called again? A dually, a dually.
SPEAKER_01Like where it's got two tires on both of the backs.
SPEAKER_02A dually Ford F-150?
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Lifted, too. Lifted. It's an important detail. Homie, I could see George Washington cruising on this all day. This is like his car. You're comparing like his car to like a car I could never see him in ever.
SPEAKER_01Really? Yeah. I could see him in a Tesla, but maybe that's just no way. Maybe that's just me. But it's not my question.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I mean, fair enough. Um, but yeah, I would say I would say the uh the truck. Yeah. I could see him cruising around that. Yeah. Um, all right.
SPEAKER_03Question four. Elizabeth Spawn, Pad Mayomadala. Go. Both.
SPEAKER_04Dude, three something.
SPEAKER_03Question four. Would you throw Would you throw the HUD in the mix? Is the HUD getting in there? Four something.
SPEAKER_01Question four. One movie character has access to your entire search history. Deleted and undeleted. Who are you trusting the most with this information?
SPEAKER_03Holy crap. Movie character? Yeah.
unknownDeep.
SPEAKER_03I've been looking up some crazy stuff for the spot. Um.
SPEAKER_02Dude's okay, if you were talking about like Xbox party chat logs, that would be, I would have to like, that would be a trust.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but it's not it's just search history.
SPEAKER_02Alright, alright. Let me think. Who am I trusting with that? Yeah. Probably like probably like Spider-Man. I think he'd be a good. I trust him.
SPEAKER_01You trust him? Yeah. You don't think he might just accidentally tell someone? Like Ned?
SPEAKER_02He could. Oh, but Ned's chill, though. I'd be chill with Ned too. We'd be like three. All three of us.
SPEAKER_01What might they find?
SPEAKER_03Dude, a lot of naked minions. That's nice. Naked Huts, too. I think it's an inspo.
SPEAKER_02I know you're a fan.
SPEAKER_01Can you can you make a drive so I can just kind of add it to my collection with Miss Piggy? Or the HUDs?
SPEAKER_02Dude, who are you trusting with your Miss Piggy drive?
SPEAKER_01The whole world, bro. Nine likes.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, everyone who watches this, if we get nine likes. If we get nine likes, it'll make it out. Yeah. Yeah. Um, all right, question number five. I know neither of us vape. We actually care about like our health and all that vaping is vaping scratch. Vaping is bad. Vaping scratch.
SPEAKER_01Throw them johns and water or something. You eat those johns. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02But if you were forced to smoke any flavor of vape once a day for the rest of your life, what flavor are you picking? Cheese. And follow-up, if you had to taste the flavor of a different dude that's been hitting a vape when he kisses you, would it be the same flavor? Or would it be a different flavor? Would it also be cheese or no?
SPEAKER_03Also, why cheese? Does your popsicle smell like cheese? This is your question, bro. This is not my question. No, like you answering this question would answer my question. So like what if I said it did? Perfect. It would be the same.
SPEAKER_02Like what kind of cheese though? We're talking like Swiss. Are you doing like the holes? Like the one with the holes in it?
SPEAKER_03Yeah. I need one hole.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_03And my cheese, at least. Okay.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Alright.
SPEAKER_01For sure. Question five. Cool.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, go for it.
SPEAKER_01Pick one of these Star Wars creatures or characters to have as your companion.
SPEAKER_03Only want an Ewok, a porg, a Lothcat, a Jawa, Salacious B. Crumb, or Joe Yauza. What was it that with a porg? A porg. The star is a Star Wars? Yeah. Dude, they're cute. Um run through one more time. Ewok, Porg, Lothcat, Jawa, Salacious B. Crumb, and Joe Yalza. Joe Yalza. Chat, pull up a picture of Joe Yalza. Oh, I'm pulling up a picture of Joe Yelza. Um. Dude, let's let's let's go let's go Joe Joe Yalza.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, he's a chiller.
SPEAKER_02Dude, he's a chiller. He's kind of looking at me crazy too.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, which picture you got?
SPEAKER_02That one. Yeah, was that what was I doing in your growth? All right. Question number six. This is a you already asked me a fighting question, so fighting question right back at you. Would you rather fight the entire horde of minions that you see in the minions and monsters movie that we watch? Like that whole horde that you see of the protagonists. Stadgun, that's a lot. All those minions. Yeah. Or either the pink or blue monster, but they're only 10 feet tall. But they still got like teeth and all like the they're still like monsters, but they're not like as big as they are in the movies.
SPEAKER_01I take my odds against one of the monsters.
SPEAKER_02Jim.
SPEAKER_01I don't think you can beat a whole horde of minions.
SPEAKER_02What's the strat? Are you are you going for the pop school or no?
SPEAKER_03Teeth. Straight teeth. Jim. Start biting them. Okay.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Valid.
SPEAKER_01You're gonna look tasty too. But you're gonna might be like a win-win.
SPEAKER_02Like taste like cheese? Maybe. So like are you gonna bite their teeth? Is that what you're saying?
SPEAKER_01No, like use my teeth to bite their like little tentacle dingies.
SPEAKER_02Okay. So wait, so are you taking the which monster are you taking? Are you taking the pink one?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, probably pink.
SPEAKER_03Gotcha. Big tank guy? Yeah. Valid. Yeah. I mean, I can be blue sometimes too. Question six. Yeah, go for it.
SPEAKER_01Would you rather have the United States win a World Cup in your lifetime or they find a cure for cancer?
SPEAKER_02Cure for cancer. Like I I'm a soccer fan. Like when World Cup's going on, it's fun to keep up with it, but I'm not like a diehard soccer fan. So cure it for cancer, for sure.
SPEAKER_03I feel like I would be like doing humanity display. Are you even American? Maybe not. I can tell. The guy over there in Germany is Schiller. What guy? Oh, I don't know. I random guy. I saw him on like Instagram the other day. Just random German guy. Like content creator. Artist. He paints. Cool. Yeah. Yeah, that's sick. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. I wish I could paint. Follow in his footsteps kind of thing. Yeah, I mean, this guy sounds cool, so hey. He's a chiller. Question number seven. Buffalo your seatbelts. Story time.
SPEAKER_02You're a pirate back in whatever time that was. I know that's like your thing. Yeah. Yeah. And you're in one of those like sick pirate tavern things. Oh. Like in your one of those bars. Free things. Yeah. Chiller.
SPEAKER_01That's like my dreams.
SPEAKER_02He said he would do some diabolical stuff to be in one of those taverns. I would. I know you would. Bunch of pop schools. A particular redheaded pirate in a pink dress approaches you, which you might know who I'm talking about. And like the finest lady you've ever set your eyes on approaches you. And it's hard. She's hardcore flirting with you. Like, even more than you were flirting with that big burly dude the night before this happened. She's like hardcore flirting with you. Like, she wants you. She can have me. She's she's like staring into your eyes. Like it couldn't be more obvious. Yeah, like I don't know how much how it couldn't be more obvious, right? She's telling you that it's like her last night in that tavern, and then she's going back to wherever she's coming from.
SPEAKER_03Damn. Hang on. Almost there. Um so it's her last night over there in like that fruity pirate tavern, right? Before she sails away. Wait. What is that? Out of the corner of your eye. You see. You see the big burly dude from the night before and a bunch of his other dudes. But they're like terrifying. Because he's like big burly dude. Like he's gonna rip you apart, bro. Yeah. He gestures to you.
SPEAKER_02He gestures to you that like if you ask her out, like he's gonna like, he's gonna kill you, bro. Like he like him and his dudes that may or may not have clothes on, like, they're coming after you. And he's the type of person to do that. Like you know he's like, he is gonna not stop until he like until he gets you. So you have two options. Do you do you like grab her hand and run out of there? Or do you go kiss the burly dude?
SPEAKER_01Anytime I get with her, it's worth it, bro.
SPEAKER_02Even if it's like 10 seconds.
SPEAKER_01Even if I just touch her.
SPEAKER_02So like you would die. Like you would die for that. Yeah. So you're fine with them killing you.
SPEAKER_01I mean, like he's heard me say it, like, 10 out of 10 redheads are like the best thing ever. Nothing beats them.
SPEAKER_02Oh, it's not to say a thing. We don't want to be like, you know, misogynist. Like they're not like that. Like they're people, you know. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_01They're the best thing ever.
SPEAKER_02So so you're so you're like, so you're dying, you're dying for that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, a hundred percent.
SPEAKER_02But like just to hold her hand and then you'll probably lights out.
SPEAKER_01I mean, even if we're like pinky to pinky.
SPEAKER_03Like popsical to popsicle. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You don't know. Yeah. I was just curious. Like, are you going for that?
SPEAKER_01Or let me throw a story time right back at you.
SPEAKER_02Ready?
SPEAKER_01Yeah. So let's bring like this time frame all the way back to the infamous year of 1876. A notable time frame in the great America's history. During this time frame, there was a bloody battle known as the Battle of Little Bighorn.
SPEAKER_03Commonly referred to as Custer's Last Stand. This battle took place in a larger war known as the Great Sioux War.
SPEAKER_01The war compromised of multiple Native American tribes at the time fighting and rebelling against the national government, in this case, in response to reservation policies and the discovery of gold. Native warrior legends, Sitting Bull, and Crazy Horse would become heroes, annihilating and erasing, and evaporating Colonel George Armstrong Custer and his 600, 700 men, and what is known to be one of the biggest defeats of the American people and greatest victory for the Native Americans throughout this whole entire conflict. You're wrapping your head around this?
SPEAKER_03I got a couple words. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Okay, perfect, perfect, perfect. So now let's say you were a soldier in this battle. You're starving, you're you're tired, you're you're weak, you're constantly evading your own thoughts of remorse and grief. You're clinging on to like that small flask of alcohol you have attached to your waistband, just trying to get any feeling that you can in this battle, besides the feeling of war. Um, you hear gunshots coming from left and right all around. Um, and you didn't know who was firing because once again, at this time, the Native Americans had successfully traded with settlers to get their hands on firearms and guns and ammunition and things like that. Um and then in the middle of all this, you remember your first love, the love that left you heartbroken. And you were aching to feel that same love you used to feel every day in the heat of the battle. Julia Grant, the wife of Ulysses S.
SPEAKER_03Grant. The cross-eyed princess.
SPEAKER_01You still cling on to her despite her cheating on you with the Giga Chag Union Man himself. You are filled with burning rage just thinking about this. Vicious anger that compels you to jump out of your hiding spot. Guns ablaze, shooting at you, everything you see, then all of a sudden, just a spear hits you in the chest.
SPEAKER_03You grow dizzy, you grow faint, blood is flowing out of you like a fountain.
SPEAKER_01You fall through the ground crying for mercy, begging for your life as your vision starts to fade to black, with only one thing in mind, Julia Grant.
SPEAKER_03Should the Washington Commanders reinstate themselves as the Washington Redskins? Yes, they should. Was there anything else for that qu like You answered it. What about what about Mrs. Grant? What about like where what's she up to? Hey, we don't go out all day, bro. Just you know. If you want to hear part two, 12 likes. Question number eight. You gotta wife up a Disney princess. What are you picking? Or Punzel. Big hair guy? Yeah. Yeah. Any hair, realistically. What do you mean? What what do you mean any like blonde hair, brunette? Oh, okay. Especially redheads. Yeah. Yeah. Right. Oh, we know that. Yep. Got it. Fair enough. Mm-hmm. Easy peasy. Number eight.
SPEAKER_01Lose Spider-Man as a staple of the MCU, or lose Batman as a staple of the DCU. Oh, lose Batman instead of the DCU.
SPEAKER_03Holy crap.
SPEAKER_01Say that. Wait, are you talking about like how like okay? No, just like Spider-Man no longer exists in Marvel. Batman no longer exists in DC. But like do they still exist just separately? Like no, like they're just like erased from history.
SPEAKER_03Oh, yeah, erase Batman. Dang. Spider-Man's like my favorite superhero ever. Spider-Man's my goat. But it's Batman. But it's Spider-Man. Batman's Batman's. Yeah, DC just would like fade.
SPEAKER_02It would be choked. You ever thought about that? How hard Batman carries the DC? Oh, he carries. Like.
SPEAKER_01It's crazy. He carries. Their Batman casting better be good. Facts. It better be good.
SPEAKER_02You wish they would just merge them and have Robert Pattinson still be Batman. Because if you don't know, both of us glaze that movie. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01That movie is so which they won't because like the Matt Reeves Batman universe with Bat and Sin is supposed to be more realistic. They want it to be like a real world. They already faded the real world into DCU with like Superman and stuff like that. You really can't have real world Batman and make it make sense, and then you bring in Superman. It makes things complicated.
SPEAKER_02Fair. You still need to watch Superman, by the way.
SPEAKER_03Gotta watch it.
SPEAKER_01After Supergirl, I don't think I will.
SPEAKER_03You should.
SPEAKER_02It's way better than Supergirl. It's good. Um I'm I'm glad we're both. Wait, was that your question? Eight? That was your number. Yeah. Okay, okay. My next question is also like chiller. Um, so a debate I've heard on the internet that I'm curious about who you think would win. So do you think Darth Vader or Magneto wins? And here's the here's the predicament. It's like it's kind of whoever reacts first because Darth Vader can just crush him, but Magneto can like just because he can all metal. Like he can just like crumble Darth Vader up. So like who do you think's got the jump on the other one? Who thinks he'll win?
SPEAKER_03Honestly, I think Magneto wins. Really? Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Why? Just from Vader's suit. I think even if like Vader's like slowly like crushing him, like Magneto can still do something to crush his suit. And I don't think like whereas like Superman, you wouldn't maybe on paper if you were an outside hero, know he's like Kryptonites' weakness. But like Vader clearly looks like he's in a metal suit. Like I wouldn't see on Magneto, that wouldn't be his first instinct.
SPEAKER_03Fair.
SPEAKER_01And plus, if he tries to use metal at all in a fight to like combat Darth Vader, he might end up doing something to his suit, anyways.
SPEAKER_03I think Darth Vader's gonna I think Darth Vader's got him. We'll see.
SPEAKER_02I think an Avengers Doomsday. An Avengers Doomsday. Secret Wars. No, I feel like Darth Vader would have the I feel like like with the with the force, he's got like some sort of instinct advantage. I feel like he he could react faster. Because Magneto's an old man. Magneto's an old guy.
SPEAKER_01Like, what can Darth Vader do against his soup being crushed? He can't prevent that.
SPEAKER_02He could like reinforce himself with the force. Enough time to kill Magneto. Like Magneto can't reinforce himself in anything. He's just subject to the.
SPEAKER_01Does Vader know what Magneto is capable of going into the conflict?
SPEAKER_02I think they both know who the other person is. Yeah. They both know what.
SPEAKER_01Well that's that changes things.
SPEAKER_02How so? Like who do you like who do you think would win either way?
SPEAKER_01I still think it'd be close. I still might kill Magneto, but I I wouldn't be surprised if Vader wins that.
SPEAKER_02Which one? The one where he knows?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I think Vader's, yeah. I think Vader's. I think if they don't know Magneto wins. I think they I think if you don't know, Vader wins. Interesting. Yeah. Interesting.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I think Vader's just gonna have that. I feel like there's some scene in Star Wars where having the force, like I mean, you have like force healing, like that's like healing you back up. I thought there was something where you can use it as like a defensive measure. I don't know.
SPEAKER_01Uh no, I I I don't remember a scene personally, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was a force ability.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01In some mind. Does Darth Vader have that one? I don't know.
SPEAKER_02Fair. It'd be close though.
SPEAKER_01If he does it somewhere in the comics.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Which comics Vader's just broke.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_01I don't know which ones are canon and which ones not. So if you can find if anyone knows of a Vader ability that might be good against Magneto that is canon accurate. Please let us know because we don't know.
SPEAKER_02Like there's a theory that the way Darth Maul survived was that like he used the rage to like sustain him. Like when he after got Chopped Half fell down the whole, you know, dropshoot thing. Like when he hit the bottom, he was like he the only way he was able to stay alive was like with the four like was because it's rage, like it sustained him in some way. You know, and so maybe that's what I'm thinking of. It could be that. So interesting. Yeah, let us know what you guys think. Magneto Darth Vader. I saw that debate now. I thought it was a good one.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's a that's a good debate. Yeah. Yeah. My number nine is like a pretty genuine question, dude. Okay. Every time you pee, you short yourself, or every poop feels like you're giving birth to a break.
SPEAKER_02It's gotta be short yourself. Has to be. It has to be. I mean, I wouldn't be able to use a urinal ever again. Yeah. Is this is permanently? Yeah. Holy crap.
SPEAKER_01I mean, like, think about how often you pee.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, but like at least the toilet is an option. Dude, do you know how painful a brick? Dude, the brick's got like corners. Dude, you would be about a I'd rather like short myself rather than like about to be passing out all the time.
SPEAKER_01Do you think it's only like a Couple painful ones and then your booty hole becomes so gaped it just becomes normal.
SPEAKER_03Holy crap. What? Somebody just died upstairs.
SPEAKER_02That was loud.
SPEAKER_01I wonder if the mic picked that up.
SPEAKER_02Hopefully. That'd be sick. Yeah. Almost sounds like us. Um no, but I would I would still say because at least I can prevent the the sharding one. I would just Yeah, it just becomes really inconvenient. It would be really inconvenient. I would rather have that than like genuine, just like the worst pain ever. Is it you said every time you poop? Every time? Yeah. Yeah, like no. I'm gonna try it for sure. Yeah. Here we go. Question number 10. The last one. Alright, dude. It's that time. You knew it was coming. I knew it was coming. They knew it was coming. It's the writing's been on the wall this whole time. Everyone knew it was coming. It's all been leading to this. Jar Jar Banks or Chewbacca, you gotta get down and dirty with one of them. Go.
SPEAKER_03Which one? Chewbacca. Why? I like hair. Like, would you be like, did you like would you like it everywhere? Like, is that embrace the jungle? That's what my ancestors taught me. Brave the wilderness. Oh, you're going in that wilderness. Yep. You might not come back out.
SPEAKER_01I also think I'd rather in worst case scenario have a Wookiee baby than a Gungan baby.
SPEAKER_03Dude, the Gungan baby would be so annoying, I might just on that shoot.
SPEAKER_01Who is the GOAT movie trio? Kevin, Bob, or Stuart? Or Kevin, Bob, and Stuart. The Minions. Or Alvin Simon and Theodore.
SPEAKER_03Alvin Simon and Theodore. Which one of them is given the best head? Pull up the picture for content. What are you talking about? Oh! Oh, the shitmunk one? Yeah. Holy shrink.
SPEAKER_02Like of the of Alvin Simon and Theodore?
SPEAKER_03Yeah. That's crazy. You really just asked me that. On on air. You just asked me that. Yeah. Dang. I mean they're a goat trio.
SPEAKER_02That's wild. Like, not that I would want, you know, we're just talking about objective. Like, we're studying.
SPEAKER_01But like getting. That's my bad. I phrased it wrong.
SPEAKER_03Okay, wait. Also, they're doing just dance on the side. Michael Jackson, though. That's fire. Dude, Jackson's just a top two movie of the year. Michael's a banger. That's also a banger song. It is. Dude, they are doing really bad.
SPEAKER_02That's really bad. Anyways, uh why do you sell this picture up on your computer? I don't know if I can show that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, maybe we don't.
SPEAKER_02I'm not gonna show that way.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I mean, one Google search and you're probably gonna find it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you will find it. You probably good chance if you've ever been on the internet, you've seen it before.
SPEAKER_02I mean it's been on my reels.
SPEAKER_03Like probably Theodore. Yeah. You're agreeing. I can see it.
SPEAKER_02I mean, you're really seeing it right now.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I think he is seeing it. Like, not even you could see it, like you are seeing it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Anyways.
SPEAKER_02Anyway.
SPEAKER_01The floor is lava complete. That might be the most out-of-pocket one we've gotten yet.
SPEAKER_02I feel like eight out of ten of ours each were out of pocket.
SPEAKER_01I think that that one went downhill quick. That one was rough. Hope y'all enjoyed it. Hope y'all laughed.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Good segment.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Hopefully we're somewhat funny.
SPEAKER_02Maybe. 13 likes if we're funny.
SPEAKER_0114 actually. Race that up a little bit.
SPEAKER_03Raise the bar. Yeah. Fair enough. Fair enough. Our last video did break a like record.
unknownNo.
SPEAKER_03With? It got zero. Subscribe.
SPEAKER_02Dude. Hit the subscribe button as loud as that guy's hitting the floor about us.
SPEAKER_01I don't know what he's doing.
SPEAKER_02I don't either.
SPEAKER_01Is he doing like burpees, but like just like 300 pounds of body weight is just like slamming the floor?
SPEAKER_02Dude, I don't know.
SPEAKER_01He might have like Chewbacca up there. They could. They could. Could have the um Sully sized minion.
SPEAKER_03Hmm.
SPEAKER_02That's your preference? I should ask you that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's not much. It's not your question. Oh, I mean, like I just Yeah.
SPEAKER_02That's I thought that's where your brain went. So um, anyways.
SPEAKER_00No, I'd probably do the Sully sized minions.
SPEAKER_02Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_00No, the minion-sized Sulli's.
SPEAKER_02No, I I meant swapping Sully for the for Jar Jar in the last question. Like I thought, like that's what I thought you were. I thought, like, should I have asked you Chewbacca or Soli sized?
SPEAKER_00I mean they're both hairy.
SPEAKER_02That's what I'm saying. That would have been a harder choice for you.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, maybe.
SPEAKER_02But neither of them are redheads, though. No. And that's your thing.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Throwing a hairy redhead.
SPEAKER_02Next segment. Yeah, we have news coming up to you. I'm gonna do general news, and then JF's gonna follow up with. I can't. Um JF's gonna JF's gonna follow up with the box office breakdown. Just talking about um G D like specifically the money side. So this is just general news. Uh my first news, like, like I guess news uh recording is kind of about box office stuff, but it's not about movies that just came out. It's about like past movies. So as of this would have been three days ago now, um, obsession became the 10th highest grossing horror movie of all times, crossing the 400 million dollar worldwide mark. That's crazy. On a again, $750,000 budget. Uh it's gotta be getting up there in terms of the highest like return on a movie ever. It's gotta be getting up there. If it's not already number one, it has to be close. I mean that that's that's over 400x. Like that's that's like 500x, actually. Yeah, like 500x. That's just unbelievable. So yeah, it's first news obsession, 10th highest crossing horror movie of all time. Um, track in the top 10. I might it might go up from there. Do you think it's gonna go higher or do you think it's gonna probably say that?
SPEAKER_01It'll go higher for uh for a little while longer. It's gonna be in theaters for probably a couple more mods.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Especially with how well it's doing, they're gonna keep it.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and it'll make it to a streaming service, uh whichever one Universal's a part of, it will go on that one.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, so um, let's see. I know everyone at home is excited about this one. Um the Eternals will reportedly return after Avengers Secret Wars. So do you have like thoughts on Eternals or so bad? I never saw it.
SPEAKER_01Bottom like MCU movie. Like I think it's the worst.
SPEAKER_02The worst?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, even like worse than the Incredible Hulk and Quantumania.
SPEAKER_02Incredible Hulk's good. Quantumania is pretty rough, though. That's pretty rough. Yeah, that's wild. Because I heard some terrible things, but I also heard some people recently say, like, you should give it another watch. No, not at all.
SPEAKER_03One's worth enough, yeah.
SPEAKER_02Okay, like that already scarred you. Well enough. Okay, yeah. Worried. Um, so yeah, that's um unfortunate news. Um, but on a on a maybe a higher note, I actually want to see what you hear about this. Um, both of us are big fans of the Batman. Let us know what you guys think about the Batman. If you guys are excited for Batman Part 2, um, this news is specifically related to Batman Part 2. So apparently, um, I think Barry, I think uh Keegan. Keegan. Yes, thank you. Barry Keegan will officially return as a joker in the Batman Part 2. Apparently, I was hearing that recorded um that it's officially gonna return. So, what do you think about this? Do you think like we're jokered out? Do you think we should have a new villain? Do you think that he's gonna do well? What do you think about it?
SPEAKER_01I think what Matt Reeves is doing is there's been a lot of rumors about like what is happening. Like, for a while, people thought it could be Killer Croc, because like we saw Gotham got flooded, and MD could transition into Killer Croc. But the way the ice theming was going, a lot of people maybe thought Mr. Freeze would make an appearance. I would personally love Mr. Freeze. The quarter owls is one people are thinking. There's a couple other people, but I think just like we've seen quite a few Batman movies, you don't have to define the movie to one villain. Um, like the Riddler was the main villain in the first movie, but obviously, like the penguin is an important character, kind of behind the scenes, like the whole underworld action. I think the Joker might be kind of like a villain, but he's not gonna be that main centerpiece. And so I don't think it's gonna really joker us out any.
SPEAKER_02You don't want to be the main centerpiece, or you don't think he should?
SPEAKER_01I don't think he should. I'd be honestly disappointed if he was. Same. Um, I think from that short little clip we saw of Barry Keegan, I think he'd be a very interesting take on the Joker, and I'd be kind of excited to see him grow as a character a little bit more, but he shouldn't be that main defining piece. Fair enough.
SPEAKER_02Fair enough. I do think, kind of a side question, do you think if we were to get a um you had said you like the penguin? I also I think the penguin, or not sorry, not penguin, uh, Mr. Freeze. Sorry. Um I also think Mr. Freeze would be a great project. Do you think that like if we were to get like a Mr. Freeze solo project, would you want it to be a similar horror style as what we're gonna get with like Clayface? Or do you think it's gonna be you think it'd be I don't know, I think I'd have to watch Clayface first. Fair, which I'm stoked for, by the way.
SPEAKER_01I think it might be, yeah, like a good idea to do these like villain backstories and really focus on like the traumatizing events that took place that brought the villain to where they are today. Because most villains have a traumatic past or experiment or something that brought them to their villainhood. Mr. Freeze being super unique. I don't remember the full story off the top of my head, but something with his wife and he was trying to do experiments to save her or something, it backfired, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. It could be pretty traumatizing. It can really make you grow more attached to a villain on a more emotional level than maybe just seeing them as a villain. So I think it could be cool if they do that with Mr. Freeze. Once again, I want to see Clayface first.
SPEAKER_02Dude, I'm so stoked for Clayface. It's gonna be good. It looks so good. It looks so good. I'm so stoked. But the trailers and stuff. Oh my gosh.
SPEAKER_01It might be the movie I'm excited to see the most coming out. Really? More than Spider-Man Brand New Day.
SPEAKER_03Whoa.
SPEAKER_01More than probably the Odyssey too. Wow. It was my most anticipated movie. Just because, once again, I'm a fan of like Matt Reeves and the Batman. Obviously, Clayface is gonna be a part of the DCU. It's not part of the Matt Reeves universe, but it's co-directed by both James Gunn and Matt Reeves.
SPEAKER_02Clayface is?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Oh, I didn't know that. I did not know that.
SPEAKER_01So it's gonna be peak.
SPEAKER_02Do you think at some point their universes are gonna like because they're there, I don't think they will, because they're so different. Like they're so different.
SPEAKER_01I think I think Matt Reeves might take a more of a director role within the DCU, helping James Gunn consistently spit out new DCU movies and projects and things like that. Um, but obviously he kind of got into that position with the Batman movie, and he probably will finish out a trilogy of the Batman movies working alongside James Gunn in the DCU. That's just my take. We're never gonna see Pattenton Battenton in James Gunn.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, no, no. Um honestly might be a good thing.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean if you keep it separate.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Like um, like the Superman movie we got from James Gunn and like the Batman from I I just they would not mix together at all. Um, which makes do you think um James Gunn is gonna have an iteration on Batman? Like do you think do you think James Gunn's gonna make a Batman?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, they've already been trying to do casting for the Batman. There's a ton of rumors about right now. I could probably cover it in the next pod. I'll make sure I'll include something about it. But yeah, a ton of casting rumors.
SPEAKER_02Sick.
SPEAKER_01Uh yeah, big thing. I mean, you can't have DCU without the Batman.
SPEAKER_02So fair. Um uh new news. So apparently the newest trailer for the Odyssey that was released a few days ago is now um the most disliked Hollywood trailer since the live action Snow White. Which and I think I saw something today that that it actually passed it today. So what do you think what do you think is causing all the hate? Like, do you think it's just the casting? Yeah, so what other what do you think?
SPEAKER_01I actually had two things of news I wanted to talk about too as well that I just happened to find in my free time. One of them was about the Odyssey, and so I there is a ton of drama surrounding the casting decisions. Um, I even saw a TikTok of some dude from like Greece complaining about the casting, comparing it to like the Troy movie where you have like Brad Pitt as one of the main guys, and being like, that was more of an accurate representation of Greek. Obviously, Christopher Nolan, some of his casting decisions might have been a little bit bad. I would say a lot of them are bad. For the Odyssey or just for the Odyssey. Um, obviously, the Odyssey is like a hero. It's one of the like most it is the first epic, I believe. It's a very historical story, but it is a fictional story as well. So you can kind of take a spin on that fictional story, even though it has strong roots in history. So I kind of see where Christopher Nolan went with it, but I understand why people are mad with it. Same reason we see people disliking Snow White, obviously. But there have been early screenings of the Odyssey already or already, and critics have already been talking a little bit about what they thought about the Odyssey, and they are glazing it. No way, really. Despite the casting decisions, they are saying it is like the world's greatest cinematic masterpiece like they've ever seen. Golly, multiple you've seen multiple of these multiple people have came in and talked about it.
SPEAKER_02By the way, Odyssey's in 10 days. Remember recording this? Yeah, that's wild.
SPEAKER_01So it's coming out soon. People are loving it. It's so hard seeing like this this media representation of it and people clowning on the casting, but now seeing critics come in and say that they love it. Heartbeat monitor just went off. Alright, we're back. All right, camera died after an hour, but we back.
SPEAKER_02We're chilling. So Odyssey. Odyssey.
SPEAKER_01You're talking about um Yeah, the comparison between the critics, the audience score, it's leaving me so confused where I'm just trying to like almost like skip over media. I see over it and just go in with like a clear head myself. Um, I don't want one of these opinions trying to weigh my interpretation and me going into the movie. Like the last thing I want to do is go into the Odyssey, just expecting it to be horrible when it's a like maybe a great movie. Maybe it is bad, and I'll be honest if it's bad.
SPEAKER_02But the main thing now that might do it the most harm is just people going in with a mindset that's gonna be bad.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but like I said, I think Robert Pattinson looks great in the movie. I'm a Robert Pattinson Glazer. Besides Clayface, his Chris Hansen primetime movie might be my next most excited movie to watch. And that's just gonna be like a cinematic masterpiece.
SPEAKER_02It's a movie I don't see enough about at all. Yeah, I haven't seen much people saying. You more excited for that than like Brandon Today? Probably. Dang.
SPEAKER_01Also, like I used to like binge watch the catch a predator on YouTube because they're so entertaining.
SPEAKER_02They're dude, some of the moments in the are so funny.
SPEAKER_01So funny. And I mean, well deserved, like expose those people.
SPEAKER_02Facts.
SPEAKER_01So like Chris Hansen's.
SPEAKER_02And Chris Hansen's a goat, like absolute goat. Oh my gosh. The the one I think I've showed you the clip, but the one clip where the guy like walks right into it and he's like, he asks them like, dude, who even are you? And Chris Hansen's like, Who am I? And he's like, I'm Chris Hansen, and then like the whole camera crew comes out and everything. But it's just the way he set it up, it was so perfect.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean, it's funny. So once again, Odyssey going in with a clear head. I'm kind of tired of seeing media of it. I want to go in. And we'll give our thoughts in a future pod on the Odyssey. Um, maybe the next pod. No, two weeks, probably. I think we have another movie scheduled for the next pod.
SPEAKER_02Oh, do you remember which one it is? Because I do.
SPEAKER_01I do too. It's gonna be buds.
SPEAKER_02It's gonna be bad.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, maybe it'll surprise us, but there will be a bad part about it.
SPEAKER_02One singular bad part. He also has hair. Yep. So you might actually like that part.
SPEAKER_01I think I changed my mind. Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02But yeah, it's it's the rock. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Did you have any other news you want to cover?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I'll see. I had um it's reported that Willem Defoe may return as Green Goblin in Avengers Doomsday. So where are you thought in this? Do you do you do you think he I thought he did so well in No Way Home, and I honestly think that might like I think that should be it for him. He did so well. I loved him in No Way Home.
SPEAKER_01I could care less. Like Okay. In all honesty, like, I think he's a great Green Goblin. I'm just so tired of like these like reveals of characters in Doomsday. I was gonna say a note I had it's gone to a point where like I don't even get excited anymore because they just keep dropping names like it's like friggin' candy on the floor.
SPEAKER_02That was another note I had was that like just another, it's just another name.
SPEAKER_01It's just another name, and I'm like, how how much screen time are these characters actually got?
SPEAKER_02Do you think on paper it's gonna be the most stacked chassis of all time? Like on paper?
SPEAKER_01On paper, yes. Yeah, do I think it's gonna be good? No.
SPEAKER_02You don't think so? You don't think they can do it? No. Too tall of an order?
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I I don't know. It's just like once again, I I'm probably gonna go in with bad expectations for that one. Just because I don't see how in a movie's time frame with all these stat characters where they can do each character justice. It's just gonna be like a mess, in my opinion.
SPEAKER_03We'll see. We'll see. Fair.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that was the last one I had. So perfect. I had one last thing of news I wanted to get to before I do a quick budget breakdown. Right. Um Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey got married. I didn't even know that.
SPEAKER_02Yep. Because I can't wear guarded. Oh, for real?
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Dang.
SPEAKER_01So shout out the the best couple of all time.
SPEAKER_03You big T Swift fan? No. Good answer. Old Taylor Swift? But that's that's a different artist right there. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Like after Reputation, it started getting a little downhill. I kind of like Reputation.
SPEAKER_02I don't think I ever listened to that. I haven't listened to like her albums all the way through. I've never listened to like any of her albums all the way through. I just have like select bangers.
SPEAKER_01Old one still hit something. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Like what is it, 1989? Yeah. Banger. Banger. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Shake it off. I could shake it off.
SPEAKER_03You know? I know you would. Yep. Style. Yeah. Bad plus.
SPEAKER_01Absolutely. There's some bangers in there. There's some bangers. So I mean 100%. Yeah, but we'll never get um away from seeing that couple on the internet ever.
SPEAKER_02I literally like I think there are way more people who hate seeing them on the internet than like see them on the internet.
SPEAKER_01But we'll continue to see them because now they're married. So that is gonna be fun. So box office as of July 6th. Take it away. Um, which would be yesterday for us. Who knows when it is for y'all? But this is the box office as of July 6th. Toy Story 5, it released on June 19th. It just finished its third weekend. It is currently at $763 million on a $275 million budget. Crazy. It is doing numbers three weekends in. Supergirl, it just finished its second weekend. It released on July or June 26th. It is at 99 million. It is almost at that 100 million mark. But um, but its budget is 186 million. So it still has a ways to go to even pass its budget. Once again, if you don't know how movies work, just because a movie is over budget doesn't mean it's profitable. You kind of have to go quite exponentially above that budget mark to actually make profit.
SPEAKER_02Do accounts for marketing and all that, yeah.
SPEAKER_01All that jazz. Young Washington, a movie where I'll talk about in just a second, released July 3rd. It finished its first weekend. It has made 19 million, and its budget is 20 million. So it's about a it's about a hit that uh break-even mark that you I guess you could call it. And then Minions and Monsters, it released July 1st, its first weekend as well. It made 160 million on a budget of 80 million. Um, so it probably did pass that mark of years.
SPEAKER_02If not, it's right there.
SPEAKER_01But in terms of minions and monsters, is the worst opening in minions franchise history, um, and quote unquote lower than expected results expected from Illumination, um, which is surprising considering my thoughts on it that we'll get to when we cover minions and monsters. Yeah, but other than that, one more thing I wanted to do for the budget breakdown is me and Will had a draft in our very first podcast about um it was a snake draft. Um, we each drafted five movies to see who would draft the most grossing budget movies of the 2026 year. Um, and I'll give a little like where we're at. Um, we both have two movies that have come out. Um, we still have three left that we need to see how well they perform grossing rise. Currently, I'm at 979 million total in my movies because I have Toy Story 5 at that 763 million mark, which is scaring me.
SPEAKER_03Crazy.
SPEAKER_01And then I have disclosure day at 216 million, and you are at 492 million. You gotta catch up, bro. You got Mandalorian and Grogru at 331 million, which is about 100 million higher than Disclosure Day. And then you have Minion and Monsters as well. Kind of unrealistic considering Minions and Monsters just came out. So that number's gonna get way higher. Yeah. Um, but it's at 160 mil again, once again. Um, I don't think it'll catch Toy Story 5, though.
SPEAKER_02That movie's it's just a cheek. If you throw Toy Story 5 on something, or just Toy Story, anything, it's gonna be crazy.
SPEAKER_01So that's where we're at. Um, I saw The Odyssey, Spider-Man Brandon Nay, and Jumanji on my list, and you have Moana, Doom Part 3, and Doomsday on your list. Yeah. And so we'll see how it plays out. We'll see. Once again, like no one's dropped a comment on what the punishment should be yet. And so we're still waiting on that. So if you're listening, drop a comment on our YouTube of what the loser punishment should be, of who loses this battle.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. I mean, yeah, let us know. Because it can be, I mean, there's gonna probably align somewhere, but for the most part, right now, we'll just say like whatever you guys say. So, yeah. So, anyways, yep, fire.
SPEAKER_01All right, and to the core of the movies. Once again, we are going over Young Washington and then Minions and Monsters. We both saw Young Washington first, so we're going to quickly review this movie first.
SPEAKER_02Fire. Did you have did you have I know you've been doing like some context on the other movies in the bed? Do you have any context on this one or not really?
SPEAKER_01Not really.
SPEAKER_02Fire.
SPEAKER_01I mean, it just like staying on my own.
SPEAKER_02Fire.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Um, it was cool this one came out on 4th of July weekend.
SPEAKER_01It was.
SPEAKER_02It's kind of sick. So um, so yeah, we do on this channel, we do what's called a letterbox on three, which if you don't know again, letterboxes out of five stars, you can do half stars, full stars, whatever. Um, so for example, you could do like three, three and a half, or four. Um, and then five being the highest rating you can get a movie. So um, if you want to go and do box or letterbox on three, um I guess I can start us off. It's letterboxing three. One, two, three, I got four. Three and a half. Fire. Yeah. Both were both were high on this one.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, both were pretty high on this one.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Do you want me to give my thoughts first?
SPEAKER_02Go for it, dude.
SPEAKER_01Okay, perfect. So, first off, I felt like it was actually a very enjoyable film. I felt like it was a pretty accurate depiction of the early stages of America in terms of what I know about history personally. Um, I felt like it was real. It didn't really hold back on what some of the realities of early colonization looked like. It kind of went into a little bit of that relationship with the indigenous tribes, how they kept switching between French relationships, British relationships, things like that, the Cray for Land, the dopamine that people would get from West Forge expansion. That all was kind of detailed in the movie, and I think that was cool. If you're a history buff, you would probably absolutely love that movie. Um, I'm not a complete history buff, but when I read books, I normally cater towards historical fiction just because parts of history do interest me, which is why I thought this movie was pretty good. I thought the acting was pretty good in the movie as well. It has some big names like Andy Circus and Ben Kingsley in the movie, which I thought was pretty cool. Um, I really enjoyed seeing the shift in battle styles over time. Once again, they used to like kind of line up and be like one, two, three, fire, but then we kind of go into that everybody fire for themselves, take your own cover, don't line up, things like that. Kind of catering after how the indigenous tribes battle during the early stages of America. George Washington had game, um, absolutely pulled a baddie in the movie. Theater experience was kind of funny. Um, they had a donation link at the end of the movie. I thought it was irritating at first, but when I kind of researched it, it's actually a pretty cool thing that they do. It's a pay it forward kind of vibe, so you just pay for a ticket for someone else to see a show and go to the movie. It is really cool. I'm not sure if having a massive QR code on the end of the credits is the right way to do it. But it was funny. A girl fell asleep during the movie next to us.
SPEAKER_02Dude. Hey, we were having a ball with that QR code, though. We were we were dying laughing.
SPEAKER_01We were laughing. I ate a lot of your popcorn. You didn't have it, but there's also some controversy on the movie as well. I don't know if you know about this controversy. Umquote AI movie slop. Apparently, the movie used a lot of AI to produce a lot of their scenes. I didn't notice it. That's scary.
SPEAKER_03Wow.
SPEAKER_01It's crazy how good that is. So people not wanting to see it because it's AI movie slop. Get used to it. It's gonna be in like every movie from now on.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, the fact that they admitted it, like they could have nusted anything. I don't think anyone would have been like. I mean, did they come out? I'm assuming they came out and said it. Like they used AI.
SPEAKER_01I mean, yeah, yeah. I mean, it's public use, but I thought the movie looked visually good. Um, once again, AI is it's kind of either an adapt or like you lose. Like if you're a big company and you're gonna fall behind using AI, you're gonna fall behind. It is very capable. Just because some people view it as lazy and a cheat code doesn't mean it's a useful tool to produce some good things. So I think this movie used it well. I really didn't notice crappy AI visuals in the movie myself. So for those calling it AI movie sloped, you're probably just saying that because they used AI. Whatever. There's also controversy on the studio as well, just Angel Studios in general. So some people don't want to see the movie just because of Angel Studios as a whole. But once again, if you kind of just watch the movie just to watch the movie and see a story of Young Washington, I think the movie does a really good job at doing that and make it enjoyable to watch.
SPEAKER_03Give takes.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Those are kind of my overall thoughts.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and not know about the AI stuff. That is interesting. That's very interesting.
SPEAKER_01I I didn't get too deep in that research just to not go down a rabbit hole, but that's what people are saying.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Whole Reddit thread.
SPEAKER_02I mean, what else do you expect from?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, where else do you find stuff?
SPEAKER_02Yeah. So I would say, like, I wouldn't call it AI slop. I don't think the movie was slop at all. There were no, there was nothing where I was like, this is slop. Um, there were some scenes I didn't like. Like, I really didn't like the like lower FPS slow-mo shots. Like, those really bothered me. I did not like those. Like, where it's like, you know what I mean, where he was like kind of out of it and the camera was like, it looks like a slideshow. It was just like like 2 FPS, and it was just like I did not enjoy those scenes. I thought it would have been better if it was just a normal frame rate or a higher frame rate. Just the same as the movie. I didn't think there was a need to slow that down. Um, so that was like one of my negatives. Another one was that I didn't think the acting of Washington's mom was that great. I thought her performance was like kind of second that I I was like, I just didn't think it was that great. Um, and then my third negative was although I agree with you, I thought it was cool that Bing Ben Kingsley was in the movie and they got him cast. I didn't really like him in that role. I I thought he was all I could see him as was like the like the uh Mandarin decoy of Iron Man 3, and he kind of still had that goofy vibe, but I didn't think that matched the general's role very well. Like I I just didn't think those meshed well. Like he's he was supposed to be serious and like he was supposed to be ordering Washington round, but he also had this like weird carefree vibe, and I didn't think those jived well.
SPEAKER_01What about Annie Circus?
SPEAKER_02Oh, dude, Andy Circus is the goat. I love Andy Circus. Yeah, he's so funny. I hadn't seen him in anything in a long time, and so it was great to see him, like Breath of Fresh Air. So um, yeah, no, Andy Circus is great. I I love him because I mean Andor, which by the way, this guy watched Andor recently, and I finally watched season two and it blew me away. So good. Yeah. I've been telling him for a long time because he's a huge Rogue One's your favorite Star Wars movie.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and so I've been telling him like I mean, if you consider like Andor season one, andor season two, and rogue one as a trilogy, it might be the best trilogy ever made.
SPEAKER_02I would say it's the best Star Wars trilogy.
SPEAKER_01Oh, for sure.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I don't know. Yeah, I can't really think of another trilogy ever that's better than it. I mean, people would probably argue like Dark Knight, like Christopher Nolan showed.
SPEAKER_00I I wouldn't.
SPEAKER_02I wouldn't either. I wouldn't. Uh the Spider-Verse trilogy has has the potential to be the greatest of all time.
SPEAKER_00It does.
SPEAKER_02That one's got potential, but as of now, it is it is no doubt up there, and or season one, andor season two, rogue one, that it is it is almost perfect. Yeah, it is incredible. So um, yeah, no, Andy Circus, I I love him. He was great and or loved him here. I thought he fit the role great.
SPEAKER_01It did, it was a very Andy circus role.
SPEAKER_02Yes, like the rambunctious general, and he's all like, yeah, oh yeah. If he fit the vibe. So Andy Circus was a plus. Um, a couple more positives I have. I mean, this is a gibbon, but um, William Franklin Miller as George Washington. I mean, this guy just knocked out of the park. Like acting, he fit the role well, he he fit the look well. I don't know what it was about him. He just had that kind of like I don't know, aura, I guess.
SPEAKER_01I don't know. I had a question uh just about that in general. I was gonna ask you, like, how do you think about like William Franklin Miller playing young Washington? Obviously, you thought he was pretty good. I felt like there's a couple moments where I was kind of like like raising my eyebrows as some of like his acting, but I would agree with you. My big thing is um what do you think about him being British?
SPEAKER_02Is he British? He's British. Shoot. I mean, fake me out. His accent was great. Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01I I mean, like I researched him and he was British, and I was like, dang, we got a British playing George Washington. Yeah, which I think is ironic. It is, it is ironic. It's funny.
SPEAKER_02Wait, did he have an accent in the movie?
SPEAKER_01I I didn't hear one. I didn't really think so either. And a lot of the movie I think was filmed in Ireland too.
SPEAKER_02Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_01So for what was supposed to be a very American movie, a lot of it wasn't American, which I think was very funny. Yeah. I mean But once again, couldn't tell. Maybe it was the AI.
SPEAKER_02They AI did it. Uh no, but yeah, I thought I thought it was great. I didn't I don't think I should be like a detractor. I think if someone plays the role the best, it doesn't only matter when he played really well. He did, and you know, the accent, everything was great. Um I loved the action sequences, I thought they were incredible. The worst scenes, incredible, like the sets, the costuming, everything I thought was great when it came to the action sequences. Um that was a huge plus for me. Um, and I just loved the the pacing, specifically when it came to like when Washington fell short, because I think like we put Washington on this like pedestal, like he was like this perfect general, and you really felt like his depravity when like he failed, like in the movie, like when he was the general and he fell, he fell short. Um, because you kind of felt that he was, you know, he was kind of like a farmer, like he could grow up on this farm, and his mom kind of wanted this this life for him, and he was kind of like a dreamer. He was like, No, I want this life for myself, and it kind of had to pave that way. And so when he fell short, you really felt that because he like the alternative is to live the life that like kind of everyone expected him to live, and and everyone believes he should be living, and no one thought that was even possible for him to do that. And so I I thought like that storyline was great, where like you really just felt that when he failed, like you felt the the weight of that. I thought they did a great job pacing that and like putting you in in those shoes. And I thought that was a great, I just loved that like plot point. I just thought that was great. Um, especially again, um, putting that side by side to how people normally see George Washington of being with this very just like poised and like perfect, just like everyone thinks he's the greatest guy ever, and he's never messed up, you know, like this, this, you know, with no blemishes. And you know, I thought they did a great job painting him as like a no, like he failed and it costed people their lives. And I thought that was a great, like, you know, you got the the weight of like he got to where because we know where he was gonna end up. Like obviously he's gonna be the founder of the country. Um, but to get there, it wasn't like some perfect road paved for him. Like he there was a lot of like death along that. So I thought that it adds some depth to you know his character. And I mean, I hadn't done research into his past really before this movie. Like, I didn't really know all this. So um it makes me see Washington in kind of a different light after watching the movie. So kind of for all that, like for all those reasons, is why it was like a four for me. I thought it was just a really, really good movie. Um, I still don't understand a lot of the controversy. I didn't know about the AI stuff. I I'm a big proponent of like, I don't think AI should be really in art almost at all. Like I know it probably saves some production costs and some money here and there. Um, but I do think that movies should be like pretty clean of AI. I just think you know, AI doesn't really belong in films and media and stuff. Um, if if if it's like you know, deliberately AI media, if it's said that that's what it is, but um, if you're gonna like try to sneak it in there, which I guess I respect them for coming out and saying that AI was used, but you know, um but yeah, overall, yeah, it's I had a couple flaws, a couple negatives, a couple things I didn't didn't like too much, but overall I loved the the heart of the movie. I thought I thought it was a great job. Do you think there should be a sequel? Maybe just call like Washington? Hmm. Scratch the young, yeah, old Washington.
SPEAKER_01Just Washington. Um, why not? Because I I personally would like love to. I thought maybe we would get this one particular moment. I might be a little bit of a history buff here, but like one of my favorite moments from like the Revolutionary War was George Washington's crossing of the Delaware River. It is such an iconic moment. There's the iconic painting. We can pull it up on screen on the YouTube uh for those who see if you haven't seen it. But once again, it was like the first major victory for the Continental Army at the time. It really was what boosted patriotism and like the cause, then it really let it crumble. I thought maybe we'd get that from young Washington, and we didn't really get that far. It was really young Washington, like young, young, young Washington. Like he was 20s. Yeah, I think it'd be cool to see an actual movie of like his military pursuits, his tactics, and then those initial stages of him becoming the first president. Um, I think that'd be like a cool sequel to have.
SPEAKER_02Dude, was he even 20 in this movie? Was he like 18? He was young. He was like, yeah, really young. He was young, but yeah. But yeah, no, I think it'd be a great. I think there should be, whether it's by the same studio director or whatever, whether it's or whether it's by a different one, I do think there should be a like Washington movie. Um, and I think this studio did a great job. I think Angel did a great job with this one, and so why not? Sure. Like Washington, uh, you know, kind of a sequel. I think it'd be great.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but young Washington, we both like this, so go give it a watch. Yeah, yeah, go give it a watch. It's fun. If you love history, you'll love the movie.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and I'm not even a huge history buff, and I thought it was a great movie, so definitely you'll give it a watch. That was good.
SPEAKER_01But I got a couple little, a couple little mini games to do, kind of based off of just history in general. Um, just because I think it's funny that we got fooled by um William Franklin Miller being from Britain, playing George Washington. We're gonna play a game called Made in Britain or America. Oh shit. And you have to guess if this certain thing was made in the United States or Great Britain.
SPEAKER_02Whoa, I'm gonna do terrible.
SPEAKER_01There's 10 items, so we'll see which ones you get right. Let's go. Let's do it.
SPEAKER_03First up, we have the Jeep.
SPEAKER_02I mean, it's very American, so because of that, I'm gonna probably I'm gonna say Great Bread. Was it made? There's no way. Great bread. I'm gonna say gray braid and final answer.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you just overthought that completely.
SPEAKER_02I overthought it. Okay. I thought you were gonna try to trip me up there.
SPEAKER_01No, nope, it it's completely.
SPEAKER_02Because that's like one of those American things ever. Yeah, that was supposed to be the easiest one. Shoot. Dang, I just overthought the crap out of that. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Like, like we invented them for the military, I think. Oh, okay. So I got uh yeah, game spawn. Number two.
SPEAKER_03That's that's very Britain. It is great. Fire, okay. It is great. Because the accent, I yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh the Kit Kat. Ooh. American? Nope. Shoot. Nope. That is great Britain. Wow. Okay, alright. The Nerf gun. Dang, dude. If this is not American, I'm gonna crash out. Alright, hang on. I'm going American, please.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's American.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it's okay. Fire. I was gonna be so mad.
SPEAKER_02It's gotta be American. It's gotta be American, yeah. Okay, two for four. Twinkies. British. American. Fred. Why did I say American?
SPEAKER_03I'm overthinking these, bro. I'm overthinking. Fred. Thomas the tank engine. Oh my gosh, bro.
SPEAKER_02Trains like themselves are so British, but like Thomas the Tank Engine is so American. I'm so I'm so conflicted right now. This is like I'm in crisis right now.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. It's harder than you think.
SPEAKER_02Dude, uh, give me American.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's British.
SPEAKER_02Dude. Oh my gosh, I'm actually selling.
SPEAKER_01Dude, yeah, you're this is really bad. You should get this one. Air conditioning.
SPEAKER_02American.
SPEAKER_01American. They still don't call air conditioning in Britain.
SPEAKER_02Heck no, they don't have toothpaste either.
SPEAKER_01They don't call squat.
SPEAKER_02They don't got dentures, they don't got toothpaste.
SPEAKER_03Okay. Next one. The frisbee. Man, you love frisbee, bro. I'm a huge frisbee guy. Yeah. Alright, whatever.
SPEAKER_02Um there's no chance that Frisbee is British. I'm not American.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, it's American. Yes, dude. It's American. Okay. The rubber duck. The frick am I supposed to know this?
SPEAKER_02The other one's like, there was like a indicators. This one's just like, okay, that's why it's one in the end one.
SPEAKER_03It's hard. Great British.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03I needed that. I needed that. And the final one the worldwide web. Whoa. American. British.
SPEAKER_01The guy who invented the worldwide rep who is credited with the worldwide rep is from Britain. Alright, rats. Yep. So man, you got Jeep wrong, James Bond right.
SPEAKER_02I mean, was I even halfway? Was that half?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Okay.
SPEAKER_01So you got Jeep wrong, Kit Kat wrong, Twinkies wrong.
SPEAKER_02Those were all Americans? No. Kit Kat was.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. You got Thomas the Tank Engine wrong.
SPEAKER_02I just overthought. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01But you got um James Bond right, you got Nerf right, you got air conditioning right, you got Frispy right, rubber duck right, and Wade Roger right.
SPEAKER_03Did you know she got married? Did you see that? Dua Lipa got married? Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I saw that and I I the just dance people that are still going. Oh, there's a Dua Lipa song playing. And and ever since I've like basically known this guy, Dua Lipa is like his his wife.
SPEAKER_01Dua Lipa is up there.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01She's Dua Lipa. Or redheaded pirate baddie. Redheaded pirate baddie.
SPEAKER_02Really? Yep. Whoa.
SPEAKER_01Like she might be undefeated.
SPEAKER_02Whoa.
SPEAKER_01She doesn't she doesn't exist though.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, that's fact. She doesn't exist. Fair enough. Wait, Dua Lipa or Megan Lawless.
SPEAKER_01Megan Lawless. Whoa!
unknownDude.
SPEAKER_02That's crazy.
SPEAKER_01I'm down bad for her. But when we first watched Obsession, completely.
SPEAKER_02No, when we first watched Obsession, you were on indie. And then now and then you then you switch sides. Dude, like the day after Obsession, he was like, Have you seen Megan Lawless? And I was like, who does she play?
SPEAKER_01And he's like, Well, like I'm not a fan of like how like the piercings and stuff of like Sarah in the movie, but like Megan Lawless outside of the like her transforming into someone else, like just her as a person. She's so pretty.
SPEAKER_02But like okay, let's say Nikki or Sarah in the in the movie. Probably Nikki. Whoa, interesting.
SPEAKER_01But Sarah for the personality. Oh, I mean so I still might go Sarah. Fair. Even like normal Nikki still might go Sarah.
SPEAKER_03Whoa.
SPEAKER_01She seems like more vibe.
SPEAKER_03She's a chiller.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. She's a chiller. But yeah, actually, you got like half six out of ten. Oh, okay. Yeah. I was almost passing, yeah. Maybe a little bit. Yeah, a little bit. Failing grade still, but hard game. Hard game. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I never thought of it.
SPEAKER_01Next little segment. This one's gonna be fun. Um blind rank these six American wars.
SPEAKER_03Homey. On whatever you want to rank. All right.
unknownAll right.
SPEAKER_01However, you want to rank it.
SPEAKER_02I'm letting you know right now. You're a history buff. I'm not at all.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, no, I got descriptions for every war. I'm ready.
SPEAKER_02Okay. Ready at that. You're gonna read them out?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Alright.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Sick. I mean, you already told a freaking narrative earlier.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Number one, the French and Indian War. Okay. This was a conflict between Britain and France for control of North America. American colonists and numerous Native Americans fought on both sides. Britain's victory greatly expanded its territory, but also increased its debt, leading to taxes that helped spark the American Revolution.
SPEAKER_02So I'm blind ranking these. Yep. These are six. Yep. I'm gonna go, I'm gonna go two for that one. I'm a fan. I'm a fan.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, dude, what a goaded war.
SPEAKER_02That was one of my favorite ones. I love that war. It was fire.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. French Indian War. Number two.
SPEAKER_01Shout out the French and Indian War at your number two.
SPEAKER_03I have a notebook.
SPEAKER_02W, I'm gonna jot these down.
SPEAKER_03Don't worry, don't worry.
unknownAll right.
SPEAKER_02I gotta draw it down too. All right, sick.
SPEAKER_01I'm gonna go ahead and read off your second one.
SPEAKER_02Hey, babe.
SPEAKER_01The Vietnam War. Classic. So it's a Cold War conflict in which the United States supported South Vietnam against North Vietnam and the Communist Vietnam. It became one of America's longest and most controversial wars, ending with the fall and the reunification. Of Vietnam under communist rule.
SPEAKER_02Vietnam War, we're gonna go. I don't really care much for I mean we're gonna we're gonna go like five.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I mean very controversial. Kind of a loss, you can really think about it for America.
SPEAKER_02I'm just gonna go based on like how much I like the war. I'm interested. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. So we're gonna go Vietnam five, like it's whatever. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. We're becoming a history podcast at this point.
SPEAKER_02I mean, apparently, dude. Yeah. With your again, with your story earlier.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Whatever that was. That was a good story, bro.
SPEAKER_02Which had nothing to do with your question. Okay, what you got, number three? What you got?
SPEAKER_01The Mexican American War fought over the Algo. Yep. After U.S. annexed Texas, the United States defeated Mexico and gained vast western territories, including present-day California, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, and parts of Colorwater and Wyoming through the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo.
SPEAKER_02Three. Mexican-American War is fire. Alamo is like the coolest thing ever. I'm saving my number one for one that I hope you're going to say. But yeah, I'm going to go to number three for that one. Yeah. Sick.
SPEAKER_01Number four, the Red River War. A campaign between the U.S. Army and Southern Plains tribes. I'm not a butcher that guy. That was completely Southern Cheyenne, the Arapeo. Just a lot of Native American tribes. Native American tribes.
SPEAKER_02We're not racist, by the way. We're a non-racist podcast. We don't gotta tell them.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I know. So we're in it with the tribes being forced onto reservations, marking the end of organized Native American resistance on the Southern Great Plains.
SPEAKER_02Homie, we're going six, bro. Like, I don't even know what, like, yeah, I had like, nah. Was it Red River? Yeah. I mean, if it was Red Head, that's when I hear number one.
SPEAKER_03True. True. All right. Number five, the Pig War.
SPEAKER_01A bloodless border dispute between the United States and Britain on the same. The Said Wad Island triggered when an American farmer shot a British pig that was eating his potatoes. Despite military buildups on both sides, no people were killed, and the boundary was later settled through international arbitration.
SPEAKER_02So this is a war fought over a pig.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but no one actually fought.
SPEAKER_02So it was like a dispute.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but there were military buildups on both sides.
SPEAKER_02Over a pig. Yeah. What what was do you have a year on this? No, you don't have to. It's okay. I'm so curious. I'm curious. My number four, my number one spot, what you got?
SPEAKER_011859.
SPEAKER_02Okay, okay. So now like in my mind, this was like really.
SPEAKER_01You got your one and four.
SPEAKER_02I mean, I'll throw this one at four. I I mean for the memes, I could throw it at one, but like, yeah, but it wasn't even really a war. Like for war, like for a war tier list, I want the number one to be like goaded.
SPEAKER_01Okay, so what are you hoping for your number one?
SPEAKER_02I mean, dude, like I'm hoping either like civil war or like um freaking like Great Britain US. Like, I'm blanking on the what's the name of that? Revolutionary? He's smart, history guy. Yeah. I'm hoping for one of the two.
SPEAKER_01Well, you're not getting revolutionary, but you are getting U.S. vs. Great Britain, and what might be my more favorite war over the Revolution. Okay. The War of 1812. Oh shit. The fought between the United States and Britain over trade restrictions, the British imprisonment of American sailors and frontier conflicts. Uh there are notable events, including the British burning Washington, D.C. and the Battle of New Orleans. Um, the war did in a somewhat of a stalemate, um, but it boosted American national pride as a whole.
SPEAKER_02Okay. I mean, it's close enough. I'll go, I'll go number one. I mean, I was hoping for revolutionary and then probably civil after that. But this is still U.S. Great Britain, so it's close enough.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02So we're going to number one.
SPEAKER_03Fires.
SPEAKER_01You got the War of 1812 at one, French and Indian War at two, Mexican-American War at three, pig war at four, Vietnam at five, Red River War at six.
SPEAKER_02I'm not changing a thing.
SPEAKER_01Dude, I kind of like it. I would change a thing. I wouldn't maybe put Mexican American at one.
SPEAKER_02Oh.
SPEAKER_01And bump everything down. And just bump everything down.
SPEAKER_02Okay. All right. So you'd have like Mexican American.
SPEAKER_01I just think a Mexican American has so many cool battles, and it was so monumental for Westward expansion.
SPEAKER_02Fair. Yeah, Mexican American's sick. I might put it past Fringe Indian. Like I might put it at two. I don't know, but like War Basin 12 is sick.
SPEAKER_01I subscribe and comment for future history podcasts. What are they doing? I don't know.
SPEAKER_03Like and subscribe to CS do Just Dance.
SPEAKER_02Just dance. 2025.
SPEAKER_0120 likes and we'll do Just Dance 25 and we'll do a whole history podcast.
SPEAKER_02Dude, they would fall asleep.
SPEAKER_01They would, but 25 likes and we'll bring it.
SPEAKER_02We're yeah. We'll bring it whatever thing we got. Yeah. Yeah. We're gonna have so many Miss Piggy wars, piggy wars. Yep. Over Miss Piggy. Picture of Miss Piggy.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Um sorry, I just saw something for a future segment. Just made me laugh. Wait, what? Yeah. All right. Anyways. Anyways. Anything else on Young Washington? Dude, that's all I got for.
SPEAKER_02Freaking gosh. Yeah. Alright, Minions and Monsters.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Here we go.
SPEAKER_01I'll go first this time.
SPEAKER_02All right, yeah, you got it. Letterbox, same thing as earlier, letterbox on three. You got it first. Let's go. Three, two, one. One, three and a half. Three.
SPEAKER_01Yep. I have it um in my rankings just right below young Washington.
SPEAKER_03Whoa.
SPEAKER_02I like the young Washington more.
SPEAKER_01But yeah, I mean, that's why it's right below young Washington. I did like young Washington more, but this is planted right below it. Fair. Um, should I go first again? I'll put it on my thoughts. I can go first.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I got it. Um I really like for me, this might be an insult. And I honestly might have it ranked too high. But I I feel bad putting it like a two and a half because that's like starting to get kind of low. I didn't think the movie was bad. I just thought it was just like nothing. Like nothing burger movie. And for that reason, again, I don't want this to sound bad, but I'm putting it in a similar bucket as like Mario Galaxy. But I think Mario Galaxy's plot was worse.
SPEAKER_01Maybe. Can I ask something?
SPEAKER_02Yeah, go for it.
SPEAKER_01Just off the top of my head. Go for it. Is Supergirl rated higher than this movie for you?
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Okay. As as at wait. No, they're the same. I think I think I had Supergirl at at Super Game.
SPEAKER_01I think you had it at three. I just didn't know if you had one higher mentally at the three.
SPEAKER_02I mean, which movie did I did I enjoy more? Uh I think I think right now they're they're they're tied. Yeah, in terms of score. I don't know. See, like I just it was just a nothing bird. I don't know how to rank, like I didn't know, because usually I have like positives and negatives. I just didn't even know what to like because I can't take this movie seriously. Like the plot elements, like they're they're just like It is a minus movie. It's a minus movie. No, like and I think for that reason, like that's kind of what they're that's what they're for. But I even think it's reflected in the box office numbers. This one's doing worse than the other ones. And I I remember enjoying the other ones more. Like I just this one I just I just a lot of the jokes didn't really land. I feel like the humor was worse in this one than past ones. There's some funny moments. I mean it's minions, it's gonna be funny. But I think overall, I just I don't know, it's just kind of a nothing burger. So I could, I could, I could put it at two and a half, but like two and a half to three, it's rather in there. I didn't think it was bad. Again, I can't say it was bad. I just I was just sitting there the whole time and I was like, how am I gonna talk about this on the plot? Because I just don't know, I can't take it seriously. Like, sure, it's funny, it's just like what you expect from Minions movie, just like when you go to see like Mario Galaxy, like it's about what you expect from like a Mario movie.
SPEAKER_01It's just like, all right, like what I expected, I didn't get.
SPEAKER_02That's valid. That's valid. But like you're just going for like some brainless, just like fun, like they they bring in just plot points like at the most convenient times, and it's just like it's not it's just not a very like I don't know. I just and I'm not a huge fan of movies like that. Like, I want I want to be invested and I want it to flow like an actual story. I don't I won't I don't want there to be some like robot named freaking whatever his name was. Do you remember his name? Dort Dort. Yeah, I just was like, okay, and then like you know, it worked out and it was all a movie, and I was like, okay. Also, wait, were those were those minions like the the mean do you remember their names, the three main characters? Like I mean James Henry. James Henry and Oh, I forget the other one. Forget the other one. But like my point is, were those three named before this movie? Like, did we know who those were?
SPEAKER_01Oh, I think they were new minions.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, I just like I was like, okay, we got a minion named James, I guess. Like it would have been funny if like we knew who these minions were, like from this big old movie, like the very first one. That would have been kind of funny. Like if we if we knew they were.
SPEAKER_01What? I I don't know. I think it was just telling an original story about some new minions, and I thought it delivered pretty well. Yeah, I just yeah. I I I think you're coming in with some hot takes right now. Okay. Audience score wise, this is for Separcated Ice, most people's favorite minions movie that's been out. It's crazy so far, and I agree personally. I think you have to.
SPEAKER_02I also forgot to mention this caveat. I have not seen either Despicable Me or the other minions movies since they released. Like, I never rewatched any of them.
SPEAKER_01I don't remember them too well.
SPEAKER_02So, so I I I like take everything I'm saying with a grain of salt, but like that's still how I feel about it. It's just like I'm not a huge fan of movies that are that are just kind of like, I don't know, just like, alright, like, cool, whatever. So, yeah, yeah, go for it.
SPEAKER_01So I'll go in. So once again, I went- You were three and a half, right? Yeah, I went in thinking I was gonna get a minions movie. That's kind of what you have to go in thinking. Minions movies have a certain way of like telling their story in a certain way of how they act and do things. And I thought this one, from what I said, did it really well. I think it was fun and unique, and I think the storytelling atmosphere was awesome. It kind of took you through some moments of history. There's really early history, the early history of filmmaking, and I thought that was a super unique way to kind of make a maintenie. I think like the first half of the movie was like phenomenal. Uh, just like the different villains, the cultures, the minions, desire to serve a villain, and you see Jed James just wanted to do like art and filmmaking and kind of do that scene. Um, I just thought it was super fun and seeing that connection, that relationship grow. Um, I really loved it. I think the second half was where the movie kind of declined. Um, I thought the George Lucas cameo was pretty funny. Sure. Um, I thought the jokes were really funny too. Like he thought long and hard about Dick referring to Dick Dominion from the movie. Um really funny joke, in my opinion.
SPEAKER_02Um you related to it?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, a lot. Jeez. Um, complaints, like Dort's girlfriend was just like so random.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Like, probably didn't need to be there, but it was kind of funny. Um, it kind of kind of lost the plot just a tad at the end, it just felt like like what they were trying to deliver and at the beginning kind of just went unexpected in ways I didn't imagine towards the end of the movie. What do you mean? Just like the second that little green guy? Little green guy showed up, things just started getting a little bit weirder.
SPEAKER_02Little booger dude.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, a little booger dude. But I thought before little booger dude arrived, like I was having a time of my life. I thought it was great. Um, I watched it with some friends. We were laughing at the um the women's protesting. Um which served no plot point at all. I think it was just to make people like laugh straight up. Fair making women jokes. Women's jokes are good. Yeah, um, but I mean once again, like it's really hard to talk about a minions movie. But I don't know. For a minions movie, I really liked it. I thought I thought there were some really fun elements on it.
SPEAKER_02Fair. Yeah, there were some good moments, some good jokes, um, some good references. Um, yeah, the George Lugas was great. I also did like the reveal. Did you like the reveal at the end where like the whole thing was a movie? Yeah. Did you like that? I thought I thought it was good. I thought it was a good, I thought it was a good ending. Um yeah, I I think similar thought to you of the beginning was pretty good. It was it was like I only want to look at your computer right now. Um the beginning was was set up very well, and then like, yeah, somewhere in there, I think literally when Booger Guy was there and like the monsters, I was like, alright, and it kind of nosedived for me there. And then like at the very end when it was all a movie, I was like, all right, but that whole second half, like I just feel like stuff was happening at really convenient times for no reason. And like again, like you just said, and like how I was saying earlier, it's hard to really talk about May's movie seriously because of Minions movie. Yeah, I think overall, I say by my my my like three out of five rating, I think it was like fine, it was fun, it kind of did what it was trying to do. Um, but but I just like yeah, yeah, then just the second half was you know, because the first half felt kind of similar to the other Mains movies. I think that format works well with like the villains and like they're you know running around trying to like serve somebody. Um yeah, I just like I wasn't a fan of like the um yeah, like Dort's girlfriend, or really just Dort in general. I just I didn't like the character really. I don't know why. I just like wasn't a fan. And again, right around the middle of the movie.
SPEAKER_01I think his pot shows of actually being a freaking real robot was kind of funny.
SPEAKER_02Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I I I had I kind of had that like yeah, I kind of had an inkling that yeah, what if he is robot? I was like, what if he's an actual villain? I was like, that's crazy.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. And like at the end where they all all the minions were flying on the well, yeah.
SPEAKER_01Once again, I gave it a three and a half just because I thought it was fun. Like, if uh if someone told me it was like, do you want to go watch Supergirl or Minions and Monsters again? I'm choosing Minions and Monsters without a doubt. Because I had more fun during that movie than I did in Supergirl.
SPEAKER_02That's fair. I just like the I I just like action movies more than like brainless minions.
SPEAKER_01What action did you get from Super?
SPEAKER_02Dude, the ending fight was pretty good. I thought I liked it. The very ending five. I wouldn't say that. But if someone was gonna force me to watch either one, I just like superhero action movies more. So I would be like, yeah. Yeah. But the Speaker of Me, that's one of the best anime movies I've ever I've ever seen. I love the Sigma Me. So I yeah. I also I miss Group, bro. I or Gru. I say Groove. Not Groo.
SPEAKER_01And make a cameo in the credits.
SPEAKER_02I did watch those are fire. Those are some funny moments right there.
SPEAKER_01There were some funny moments. Classic minions moments.
SPEAKER_02When Groo's clothes fell off, did you look down?
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yeah. Speaking of just like great moments, yeah. Oh gosh. Um, viewers, once again, please watch this on the YouTube. We're gonna probably have these pictures up. Yeah, we'll have these pictures up for sure. I got it. Um, yeah. So the game is going to be um smash or past these seven minions. Um so I'm gonna show you a picture and you have to smash her past this menu.
SPEAKER_02Is this like is this legal? Can I do this? Yeah, okay.
SPEAKER_01Of course. I mean, some of them you might want to, some of them you might not want to. So um all right, let me just let's lock in here.
SPEAKER_03All right, locked in, I got you. Number one. What is in his mouth? That's an ice cream coat. Shoot. Yeah, smash.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I mean he's inhaling that ice cream. I mean, bro.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. I mean ice cream popsicle. Yeah, you know what I mean? Very similar. Right. You think about me, right?
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_03I guess so. Number two.
SPEAKER_01Once again, if you are a little like an audio, you have to come to New York.
SPEAKER_02Just for this segment. Um like the pass.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Yeah. He I mean he's seen enough.
SPEAKER_02Like, like we know what Gru did in that post-credit scene when he took his pants off. Like after that. Yeah. Like he looks genuinely that might be one of the most traumatized looking pictures I've ever seen.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, he's going down.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, bro. Number three. Holy smashed.
SPEAKER_01Well, why smash on this one?
SPEAKER_03Just the shape. Yeah, the shapes, yeah. What does the shape remind you of? It could go some places. You know what I mean? I mean, like, obviously, you were thinking that too. Oh, yeah.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_02I mean, bro, and bro's like, bro's grinning. Like, bro's happy to do it too. I'm grinning ear to ear.
SPEAKER_03All right, what's your number four? Dude, am I getting logged by a minion right now? You might be. Uh pass. Yeah, it's kind of weird.
SPEAKER_02He's just some like weird stubble on him. Yeah. He looks I like I don't know. That's that's just not it's kind of uncanny. Yeah, it's a little bit. That's a that's a monster you'd see in like the back room. Yes. That thing, that that's like a PNG that would chase you around the back room. Oh, for sure. You know what I mean?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah. What you got next? Minion five. You don't even need to hear my answer. No.
SPEAKER_00I mean, caked up on a Tuesday.
SPEAKER_02Every day of the week.
SPEAKER_01It is, in fact, the Tuesday.
SPEAKER_02Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. It is Tuesday. I mean, I mean, actually now it's past midnight because we're we film at the weirdest hours ever, but the earliest we filmed ever. This is the earliest we ever filmed. And it's still past midnight right now. Uh yeah, I mean oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Absolutely. Number six. I love this. Like that. Why? I'm not a big pensail person, bro. Like dude. Whenever I see like handlebars, dude. I mean, bro, like the inside I looked at that picture, I was like, if if the question was reverse, it's a redhead.
SPEAKER_02Like, I mean, you're just locking out. Yeah, I might be. But like paytails just they're just it's weird vibes. Yeah, I get that. I'm just not about it. I get that. So yeah, I mean, like, yeah.
SPEAKER_01All right. The seventh and final minion.
SPEAKER_03Pass. No, smash. Sorry. My gosh. I mean, yeah. I mean, yeah. The coconut bra. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I mean, look like the like look at it. He's smirking at you too. Look at that.
SPEAKER_03Like he's kind of asking for it. Yeah, like it's not my fault. Yeah, like like that's that's on him, bro. Yeah, it's all on him. All on him.
SPEAKER_02I'm lost in his eyes right now.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01I started this picture a while when I was making this.
SPEAKER_02Can you look at me like that? When you when like later?
SPEAKER_03Alright, I mean, more now. That's take some notes. That's rich. That's rich.
SPEAKER_02That's ri Cheese popsicle.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yeah. Anyway, Smasher Pass sending minions.
SPEAKER_02Thank you for that. Wonderful.
SPEAKER_01That's all I got from Minions and Moss. Wonderful segment. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Thank you for that. That was good. That was good. You're welcome.
SPEAKER_03Let us know what you guys would, you know. Do to those minions. I mean, we don't want which minion you would crack. We don't want to get banned. No. That's probably banable. Yeah. That's kind of cooked.
SPEAKER_01Did you just just let us know like which minion you'd have a sleepover with?
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Yeah. Sleepover. And maybe have some, maybe right on the freezer middle of the night, have some popsicles, you know?
SPEAKER_03Yeah. At the sleepover. And cheese. Swiss cheese. Okay.
SPEAKER_02Alright. Alright. Let's see. Anything else we got for Monsters Means and Monsters? Is that all you were? Dude, I got nothing. Fire.
SPEAKER_01Once again, hard to talk about that movie. Yeah. I just liked it. It's fine.
SPEAKER_02It was a fun movie. Yeah, I mean, three, three and a half. Fun movie. Let's know what you guys thought about it. Um, Mains and Monsters. Fun movie. Hard to rate, like seriously talking about it. Um, but but fun movie, nonetheless. Um, all right. New segment.
SPEAKER_01Oh boy.
SPEAKER_02I got planned for you. Do you have any more or no? Like fire.
SPEAKER_01That's all I have. Fire.
SPEAKER_02Alright, then I'll throw I got a couple segments for you. So I'll throw this first one at you.
SPEAKER_01Perfect.
SPEAKER_02So a new segment I thought of similar to yours last week, but a little different. This one's a spin on King of the Hill. We're gonna call it King of the High Ground. So in light of Monsters and Minions, Mains and Monsters, um, these 15 movies produced by Universal Studios are going head-to-head tournament style. Um, but just like King of the Hill, like when you pick a winner, like that one goes against the next. So your winner stays, and it's like King of the Hill. Okay, perfect. So we got 15 Universal Studios movies in honor of um the Means and Monsters movies. So we're starting off strong here with uh Despigable Me versus Jurassic Park, the first Jurassic Park movie. Disfiguble Me, Jurassic Park, what do you got?
SPEAKER_01Jurassic Park.
SPEAKER_02Whoa. That's wild.
SPEAKER_01That's not wild. Jurassic Park is probably one of the greatest movies ever made.
SPEAKER_02Dude, but Discover Me is so fire.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, Jurassic Park is like up there though. All right, Jurassic Park.
SPEAKER_02But you got Jurassic Park or Jurassic World? Jurassic Park. Got it. Did you like which first Jurassic World movie? Like it was good. I thought it was good too.
SPEAKER_01They went downhill real quick, but like nothing beats the original first one.
SPEAKER_02Got it. Alright, Jurassic Park versus E.T.
SPEAKER_01Never seen ET. Jurassic Park.
SPEAKER_02Fair enough. I've also not seen E.T., which is kind of crazy because that's a that's a classic, but I've not gotten around to that one either. So alright, what you got? Jurassic Park versus Back to the Future one.
SPEAKER_01Never seen Back to the Future. Oh my god. I'm going Jurassic Park.
SPEAKER_02Crazy. Alright.
SPEAKER_03Jurassic Park versus Despicable Me 2.
SPEAKER_01Jurassic Park. I do love Despicable Me 2. You like it more than the first one?
SPEAKER_02Probably. Whoa, that's a hot take, I think. It might be a hot take. Dang. Alright. I need to rewatch Despicable Me 2. I don't have too good at a memory of it.
SPEAKER_03Um, so we got Jurassic Park versus Shrek. First Shrek movie. Dude, that's tough.
SPEAKER_01I think I'd rather turn on Jurassic Park. I'm not as big a Shrek as most people.
SPEAKER_02I'm not either, to be fair. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01It is a banger though.
SPEAKER_02I'm I'm an alright Shrek fan. Like, I think Shrek's okay. I think it's fine. I'm not the biggest Shrek guy. So I would put Jurassic Park here for sure. Um sweet. Alright. Jurassic Park versus the first Kung Fu Panda movie, Kung Fu Pana 1.
SPEAKER_01Oh my gosh. Once again, like I haven't re-watched Kung Fu Panas in forever. So I still think I'm keeping Jurassic Park. It's like sweeping this.
SPEAKER_02Dude, it is, it is, you're making making its rounds right now. Alright, here we go. Jurassic Park versus probably a top five movie of all time for me. Jurassic Park versus How to Train Your Dragon.
SPEAKER_01How to Train Your Dragon. It's one of it's one of the greatest animated movies I've ever seen.
SPEAKER_02Yep. Good answer. Yeah. I might have, I might have.
SPEAKER_01John Powell cooked with the soundtrack.
SPEAKER_02Dude, that soundtrack. Oh my gosh. I'm gonna crash out.
SPEAKER_01It is so good.
SPEAKER_02Park was sweeping, but I would have crashed out if you picked out. Yeah, yeah. It's so good. Dude, How to Train Your Dragon. Incredible.
SPEAKER_01Yep.
SPEAKER_02All right, so we got How to Train Your Dragon versus the first minions movie.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, How to Train Your Dragon. It's not even close.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Full sweep. Um, we got How to Train Your Dragon versus Mega Mind.
SPEAKER_01Never seen Mega Mind, so How to Train Your Dragon.
SPEAKER_02You've got to see that movie. I heard it's funny. It's a it's a good one. Yeah. It's it's a classic. Um we got How to Train Your Dragon versus Madagascar.
SPEAKER_01Madagascar are funny, but how to train your dragon.
SPEAKER_02Okay. Got it. This one I'm really excited to ask you. I think you're gonna have you're gonna be split on this one. We got how to train your dragon versus Huss and Boost Last Wish.
SPEAKER_01I knew it was coming. I I literally I literally almost said like I'm ready for it.
SPEAKER_02This guy, when this movie came out, he told me to like go to the theaters when this movie came out.
SPEAKER_03He was all over this movie. It's a hard one.
SPEAKER_01Dude, I'm actually like torn.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Like I feel like depending on like the day, I could go either direction.
SPEAKER_02So what's today gonna be?
SPEAKER_01The last wish. No, dude. I'm doing it. The animation just gets me. Dang. It's so good. I love Death.
SPEAKER_02It's a great movie. Tower Twitter Dragon Wall will always be for me. That's clear as this whole list, but it's a valid one to lose too. These last couple are um, I mean Last Wish versus Super Mario Bros. The first The Last Wish. Fair enough. Yep. Did you like the you liked the first one though? It was good. It's good. But like Last Wish. Yeah, Last Wish better. Facts. And then last one, Last Wish versus Millions and Monsters.
SPEAKER_01Last Wish. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yep. Valid. Last Wish comes out on top of King of the High Ground. Um that's a valid movie.
SPEAKER_01It's a great one. I mean, clearly saw what my top three were in that movie. Last Wish, How Train Your Dragon, Jurassic Hard.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Two top three. Let us know what y'all's top three would be from that list. Um, which ones are hot takes you guys think from him? Um, what you guys thought about that list? Let's let us know what you guys got.
SPEAKER_01Real quick, gonna do a camera integrity check real quick. Go for it. We say we are recording, but I'm getting no signal, and we've been at 20% on low battery. So maybe something happened and the camera has actually lost fee for quite a little bit.
SPEAKER_02Whatever happened, we're gonna check it out.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. All right, we're back. We are back. Uh yeah. So we don't know how long the camera was out for. Um it was weird. Internet in here is like horrible. So, like, my heartbeat monitor works when there's a valid connection to the camera through the internet, but it lost connection to the internet, so I couldn't actually tell when the camera battery died. So hopefully, when you see this on the YouTube, it was only a couple minutes without video clips.
SPEAKER_02Really hoping. He said we film in a community center, and the Wi-Fi here is pretty trash. It's garbage. Really bad. But yeah, he made a heartbeat monitor like for the camera so we can see on our end when the camera is like gonna die. Um and we have no idea how long it was like that for. So um hoping it was not too long. If it was, it's cooked, but we're back for now. Hopefully, it has enough battery to do the outside.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, hopefully next fall we have a second battery.
unknownProbably not.
SPEAKER_02That is the goal. We really do need to be able to do that.
SPEAKER_01We are uh what are we at? 200 likes for a new battery.
SPEAKER_03Um typo 20.
SPEAKER_02Dude, you leave that's a like, bro. Two likes, please. Like two likes, bro. Two views. Two bikes. Yeah. Two views something. Two something. Yeah. I don't know. But yeah, we're gonna get you another battery. But anyways, um that's that's all we have planned. Um, I had one more segment, but we're gonna bump it over to the next pod. This segment's gonna be fire, though. So be sure to stay tuned for next pod. I will drop this segment on him. Um, it's gonna be fire. But but I think we're camera is is about to about to take a freaking snoozer. It's about to take a nap. Yeah, not gonna wake up. No, no. So um we're gonna go into call it, but thank you guys so much for watching, for tuning in. Um, let us know what you guys thought about Yugin Washington, about Beans and Monsters, about any of the rankings we had, um, what you thought were our takes were terrible, um, what you thought were good, what you agree with, what you disagree with, um, all the things. SPEAKER_01Just thanks for tuning in. Yeah, like and subscribe, share the pod, comment down movies you want us to review in the future. Um, I know we've been constantly reviewing movies like crazy that are coming out on release, but on our pod schedule, we have a couple of free weeks coming up where we're able to watch any type of movie we want to and review it and go in depth about it. So if you want to see something in particular, please comment it so we can go ahead and get that worked out.
SPEAKER_02Thanks. And there are a lot of movies we haven't seen, so please let us know. Yeah. So um, but yeah, that's all we got for today. Thank you guys again so much for watching. This has signing out. Really appreciate you guys. Um, we'll see you guys in the next one. So peace. Peace. Toast is
